Another chapter in your van life and tiny home living. Michigan is nice this time of year. There are lots of festivals clear through autumn where you can show see it display it merchandise. No shortage of rest areas for taking breaks or overnighting there and so many beautiful small towns to visit along the great lakes. Haven't seen you this relaxed and happy for a while. Gods perfection and grace is abundant and overflowing across your lifescape.

I remember you being emphatic about no more side jobs. Why has that changed?

Some counties won’t let you put an accessory building on your property until you have the main structure built. She’d have to check with the local building dept. Otherwise, that’s an excellent idea.

You are the bravest lady. Makes me feel so wimpy. My blessing is having property at the beach with a covered pavilion for our travel trailer. I prayed for something for about 5 years. My husband sold some of the property where our house is and we then reinvested that into beach property. We are so excited!

When you get settled in your new place you should look into getting an adjustable bed. It really helped me to sleep better as I can't sleep flat with reflux.

I totally get why you stay in rest stops rather than campsites..So I retired last month turned 62 traded in my vehicle for Toyota Sienna "Luv it" packed up hit the road to closest national park and- I left the camp site and stayed at nearest rest area.

I have owned 4 houses in CA and TX. I live in senior housing now in Tx. I don't miss owning anything. I have one bill a month relating to housing. A blue state? They put more restrictions on my social security disability.

Hi Linda! Im a mechanic and the last couple videos Ive watched where you were driving Happy Haven I have noticed a roaring noise that changes with your speed....I think you may have a bad wheel bearing on one of your wheels.....just giving you a heads up...may want to get that checked. Congratulations on your land! Its so exciting!

I'm really happy for you. I hope the lift gate latch problem i easy to fix. We had to replace the handle on one of our cars multiple times. It was an easy job, but in later years it was hard to get the part. Your's may only need a good cleaning degrease and adjusting. Owning land is a true blessing and being a good steward of the land is a responsibility, but a good responsibility. I hope you find enjoyable work to save for your landing pad. Stick built on a foundation would likely be the least expensive, but not movable in the future. A manufactured home set up on a foundation would likely have the best quality control for your money. My next home will not have a mortgage and will be the smallest square footage allowed. My dream is to have a garage that will hold my class B and another vehicle and have shop space as well. It will be bigger than the house 😂. I can't wait to follow this new chapter of your life's journey. I hope to see you in Quartzsite again this January. God bless and safe travels.

I love Michigan ❤❤❤. I came to Ohio from there eleven and a half years ago for a stable job. I’m now about ready to leave Ohio to possibly get a property in mi as a seasonal home, and then another somewhere else. Love the areas that are north of Saginaw/Tri-Cities.

There seems to be a sound issue when you are driving and talking that was not evident previously. Very hard to hear what you are saying over (is it) road noise, tire noise, perhaps placement of recording device for sound? Have to turn on closed captioning in order to get what you are saying.

Linda, there should be a small access panel on the inside of the rear door that you can pop off and open the rear hatch that way....of course having all that stuff in the back will make that harder, but at keast youll be able to open it if you need to.

Yes, had a master mechanic look at and he showed me a metal piece inside that I slide across with a screw driver.. FYI there is no power contact to latch.. most likely need a door latch actuator/solenoid
