The S & S restaurant is a far cry from the way it was in 1940's, 50's and 60's. It was owned by Jews who made genuine Jewish cuisine like pastrami, corned beef, salami, Matos balls, half sour pickles etc. My brother went there early this year and said it was awful and nothing like it used to be. New owners do that .
