this is a relative observation. most of the people who filled the form from bangalore were making more than 10 LPA. I myself earned less than 40k in my full time job so I know 50k is a big amount but today things have become extremely expensive in bangalore. It is really very difficult to find a 1BHK for less than 20-25k per month in the central locations. Even in this video, Anirban was able to get a house for less than 10k because his office is in the outskirts (Electronic city). If his office was in HSR, Sarjapur road or near Koramangala where a lot of companies are located, the same 1 BHK would have probably costed 20k.

Even though you can, you need to find some niche areas in the city where there are villages and local population living like its 2004-2005 still. I am in Gurugram and there are areas like away from Main Gurugram that are cheaper to live for freshers. It takes time to find those areas, hence you should not stop exploring your own city. You might be paying 30-40% extra (at max) in the same city, whereas you can reduce you rent by moving to a lesser developed area. Of course, take into account the total cost and time of commute to your workplace. Good luck!

He is street smart and knows what he wants in life, a person who knows what he desires has already scored big in life, i like his outlook on life and it goes in hand with what i believe, i do travel every quarter and probably spend 50-60k on that but then again im in to sales, and only travel on my commision :) work harder and party even harder.. Great show as always. 50k to 90k is almost the same in metro cities.

50k with that lifestyle for a bachelor is enough in any city in India except Mumbai! It’s good to be disciplined but not at the cost of life and happiness which sometimes can be achieved by materialistic things after all we live in a world full of materialisation.

I know a lot of ppl are talking abt how it is not realistic but more ppl have told me that I have not worked hard enough coz apparently in software I’m supposed to start from a higher salary than ppl who told me thats its fine for me to start with this package. That’s the reason I feel like this is not enough and I’m not enough coz everyone around me keeps saying I haven’t worked hard enough, settled for less than my worth or not built opportunities myself for a 10-12lpa job.
