I used to study Shaolin in my youth at a school that was reputed for being very hard (especially Hung ga training haha) - about 6 years from 12 to 18. I had to stop when I started studying after graduating high school as I couldn't physically make the classes anymore. I miss how strong my body was, but the lessons I learnt, the perseverance, and the mental fortitude to do something challenging before my mind has time to talk me out of it; how to motivate my classmates and myself to push through pain and suffering; these lessons have stayed with me and driven me through so many challenges in my life. And I made incredible friends. I will always praise my years in this discipline and would recommend it to anyone who has the opportunity to join a good school. Not to fight (as this drew most people)...but to learn where to start with self-mastery. 6 years changed me forever, for the better. This was very cool.

In the current cultural landscape, the difficulty lies in discerning the opportune moments to buy or sell when dealing with trending stocks. I actually practiced shaolin kung fu for 4 or 5 years when I was a teen. I had 1h30 hours of training 3x a week and the first 45 minutes were just conditioning and strenght training. Basically, it was like a 45 minute non-stop hiit workout and then we had another 45 minutes to practice the techniques and do actual sparring. I was in my best physical condition back then. It was one of the most fundamental things I did in my early life that contributed a huge deal to my character and self-awareness, to building my confidence and to learn how to man up. I owe to my training sessions, my teachers and my mates the character I built during that time. It really builds character. Shoalin kung fu and psychoanalysis together made me grow and changed everything about me during those years.

This video isn't just a piece of entertainment; it's a mirror reflecting the challenges and triumphs we all encounter in our daily routines. I love what you guys do but two things I would suggest. 1. Include some older people on your travels. Many of the people you visit are much older than you and you learn from them and experience a great time but you never take anyone older with you. 2. You're seeking discomfort, you have pushed yourself outside of your comfort zone so many times yet you still turn up to something like this with "are we gonna die? I don't think I can do this!" It's like you haven't yet learned to embrace where you are and the situation you've put yourselves in. It also shows your immaturity, that you have yet to still learn from life. I started pushing myself to do things once I turned 40. Now, if I've put myself in a challenging situation, like wall climbing (I'm terrified of heights) I try and embrace it and not show my fear. I did it to myself, I put myself in that situation and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Stood out there with the Sifu who says "you must stay the whole 20 minutes" you should be feeling confident "I can do this." That is truly seeking discomfort.

Personally, I would want the master to be my partner. He's so wise and has a sense of kindness in him that I can just feel. He knows exactly what he's doing and I know he will take care of those he's paired with, even if it seems harsh. He knew Thomas could handle it.

This is my dream experience. I've been following Master Shi Heng Yi and his legendary teachings for a while now. Funny enough, the performance at the end of this video was showcased on the European Shaolin Temple KZread Channel and while watching it, I could have never guessed that Yes Theory, one of my favorite KZread channels was there too. I want to visit the monastery and train rigorously there someday because I think there's something special in finding spiritual and physical enlightenment through hard work. Being close to graduating high school, I've been constantly trying to become the man I want to grow into, and Yes Theory and what the Shaolin Temple stands as an example of some of my goals in life. I don't want to follow the path to a simple job and a simple life. I want to travel, meet new cultures, meet new people, and improve the lives of myself and the people around me. Yes Theory I am very glad that you guys made this video because I think spreading the knowledge of Shi Heng Yi and the Shaolin Arts is very important to all people worldwide. Everything you guys do is truly spectacular, and you guys are already changing the world. Seeking discomfort is the ultimate fulfilling prophecy!!!

Seeing them do the challenge made me want to do it, I went through horrible heartbreak this year and Buddhism has helped me to keep my soul pure and help me to move on. I got nerves with the master saying you cannot back out and even I second guessed myself. But seeing them do it, I wanted to do it badly and experience the pain too. I felt like I could have handled it and it put a smile on my face after seeing that they all did it. I would love to be at a temple and teach myself to be a different person.

Ever since i came across master Shi Heng Yi's Qi gong (Ba Duan Jin ) practice , major shifts happened in my both physical and spiritual journey. Though I'm a Yoga practitioner since 4 years now, At first i felt very painful while practicing his style of Qi Gong . Subsequently i started to give it a try every single morning in a raw. and guess what i had less pain in my thigh area. Its a goddess pose and i really felt the same. By nature its coming easy on me day by day while concentrating breath work. It does wonder in my physical and emotional level. It reduces stress , anxiety , depletion, upgrade cognition, you'll never feel house chores as burden anymore , less talk more work. Even in stressful circumstances you remain conditioned ( what to do what not to do ), you listen more, observe and allow others to speak. Eventually you know how to deal with anger and not self sabotage. Thanks for reading through and much love to YES THEORY for bringing this video. Namaste 🤍✨🙏

That's what makes him natural and the most relatable lol. I've been watching yes theory for years, and there's something greatly inspiring about a guy who really has regular responses and can sense when things are bat shit crazy lile the rest of us do, but go for it anyways. Also keep in mind he's often surrounded by other people that are just more naturally adept and used to certain topics(ammar and the marathon girl in the video with the beating challenge) but everyone has different strengths. Plus after all that, he is a avid meditator. I think more people would probably have cried or screamed longer if they didnt have that lol
