I first discovered Hadestown on Instagram. A sound clip from “All I’ve Ever Known” popped up on my feed to advertise the show on Broadway. I was immediately taken by the music and burst into tears. I then proceeded to run the park to the live cast recording. On loop. For a month. When my parents asked what I wanted for my birthday, I said: Tickets to Hadestown! At the end of “Wait For Me,” every goosebump was driving me to my feet with my hands above my head. Clapping. Wildly! It was viscerally contagious and I was out of body! How the cast & creatives of Hadestown illuminate the power of the human heart is the magic of the universe! I love Hadestown. I still cry every time I listen to the recording. A masterpiece. Innovative beyond. “It’s an old song & we’re going to sing it again!” Thank you @hadestown
