Enjoyable for sure I like the extra bit of roleplay added. Although I think it would be better if it were a month to month turn.

I think I've just fallen out of love with what Total War has become as a series. I don't begrudge them changing, I'm not salty about it like some people are, but they're just not as fun as they used to be for me any more.

Do you like having a dynamic fixed trait system, or a randomized trait system that's determined by player/character actions and genealogical hidden triggers?

Saw this vod the other day on twitch. I am not really excited by this title, sadly, considering how many thousands of hours I've sunk into TW games. I agree with you that the map is lovely, and the campaign customization options are awesome! I'm assuming what you streamed today will be the same campaign and show off the court options and other features that were still locked off. Looking forward to watching tonight or tomorrow. Even if the setting isn't too your interest, some of the new features for battle using the stance system is fantastic and a great step for the series. I hope they take it forward, and if not I hope that mods are able to add new eras and regions!

@@pluemas CA will look at Pharaoh as a catastrophic failure, just look at the steam charts for this game. They will not learn anything from a game with a peak of 4000 players on release.

Only media I've consumed set around the Bronze Age are a couple fantasy stories so I would be very interested in getting into this game. Definitely going to wait for a sale though, and for the invetiable DLCs which complete the game.

Didn't unlimited battle time strike you back sometime? You always set it to unlimited like in those new total wars you'd get hour+ battle anyway. I remember multiple instances when at siedges AI crashed or fallen into loop and only way to win was running the timer.

Game looks fun. Decided to buy.

For an infantry heavy based game,why would they keep basic charge animations as part of total war combat? They did absolutely nothing dynamic with wild charges, or crazed warriors flying into the mob, or drop kicking, or larger heavier men would have cav like impact, knocking ppl over. Nope. They needed some NFL type unit animations man, something to spice up the lack of not having cavalry. But you get what, hittites with faster guys....CA has no balls and it shows in how they design their now pg rated disney fairytale version of the bronze age. Oh, but it looks so pretty. And the city models look worse than single buildings from original age of empires. Ain't no way

9:15 Oh hell yea, more games need that kind of stuff, even if it is a bitch to get working. Like, in this case it won't get me to play, because the reason I won't is all user problems. I just cannot parse TW games or more complex strategy games.

I agree. The weapons are a bit too loud and the shouting is a bit too quiet, makes it sound a little strange
