This crush reminded me of Kobe Bryant (very popular basketball player in LA) crush in Southern California. Same terrain with hills, foggy weather, but new well maintained helicopter and very experienced pilot who got disoriented and lost control. Most likely what happened with Raisi too. Really they should not fly in this weather regardless.

They have enough money for Russian Choppers, since they sell their drones to Russia. But they decided to use old American choppers for their president. I am not quite sure how to interpret their decisions. Maybe they like old gear.

My point is May not all parts of today's modern helicopter be manufactured by a single firm or country. Therefore the sanctions in place might have played the deciding role in denying iran its needs of new ones. Also the bon homie between iran & China might have been a significant crucial factor. The original manufacturing is done at an undisclosed location and the integration as per one's needs take place at a number of places. This is entirely my view.

Iran blamed them for the sanctions which they claim is the reason they couldn't buy a helicopter ,it still hasn't been proved that it was technical problem so they have asserted this completely based on a probability but Iran hasn't blamed U.S for the crash , they are just giving excuses when asked the question "why are you using a 4 decade old helicopter".

Did the chopper developed technical fault when ferrying the offical to the ceremony? Netayahu have crossed the limit hence should face the consiquencies of his actions in Palestine. US is also culpable on this issue too. It is justifiable for others but unacceptable because they both are on the same page.

This crash was caused by at least 3 factors that all came together at the same time. I doubt any investigation team in the world would be able to make a final determination. We know of two factors already. Adverse weather and an overloaded helicopter. Throw in simple pilot vertigo and the completes the picture. Mechanically, anything could have failed. But I doubt that anyone will ever be able to make any kind of mechanical failure determination. If you’re giving God credit for the accident, you’re insulting God.
