The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia (full documentary) | FRONTLINE

One year after the murder of columnist Jamal Khashoggi, FRONTLINE investigates the rise and rule of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) of Saudi Arabia.
In a never before seen or heard conversation featured in the documentary, the Saudi Crown Prince addresses his role in Khashoggi’s murder exclusively to FRONTLINE correspondent Martin Smith. Smith, who has covered the Middle East for FRONTLINE for 20 years, examines MBS's vision for the future, his handling of dissent, and his relationship with the United States.

For all of those who think it is ideal if Muslim women are not financially dependent on men: Would it be ideal if Muslim men were not sexually dependent on their women? For example, would it be ideal if men could purchase (at low cost) harems of docile life-like forever-young sex robots? How would you respond to Muslim men who justified this by saying such robots are necessary to give men true independence, such that they are not forced to stay in relationships with women who are rude, jealous, controlling, manipulative, fat, old, or ugly? How would you respond to Muslim men who said that Muslim women need to "step up their game" such that men choose to be with them instead of a robot that is more friendly, beautiful, young, and thin? The cop out answer is to say sex robots are haram, but there are other conceivable halal alternatives that would do the same thing: flood men with cheap alternatives. Obviously, such alternatives would weaken and ultimately destroy marriage because it takes away the dependence that men have on women for sex. But that is literally what giving women financial independence does; it makes them independent from men. And that's why no society or religion ever did give women that independence, except for our current dystopia.

victor nderu I find this almost 2 hour video a complete sham. Doesn’t this video remind you of something? How about the United States of America? We have the tech companies, such as, Facebook, Twitter, Google and so on that are censoring, our first amendment rights, especially if they don’t like what we have to say. Also now we have what’s called a hate crime by expressing our opinion about a race, color, creed, body type, sexual orientation and so on. When I was a boy it was called “sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.” We’ve become a soft society of weasels that can’t handle somebody being stupid or racist and just let it alone. We have to bring it out and discuss it like it’s something major in our lives. All we have to do is ignore and drop words that are coming from an insecure, immature, ignorant or racist individuals and it will go. But the main stream media and politicians thrive on this crap and that’s why they have to continue the Bombardment from the media and politicians in order to brainwash the naive and easily manipulated regarding this crap. For example our politicians and mockingbird media continue to run false flags in order to take away our Second Amendment rights. Wake up people this video is exactly like the United States of America we are oppressed and suppressed by our government on a continual basis. Our constitutional rights are being subverted 24/7 as the politician is above the law and can do whatever the hell they want to do without any consequences. When are we going to wake up people?

Instead of talking about all those children and women that get killed by Saudi child killer army, the only thing you noticed was that the documentary is free ?? 🤦🏻‍♂️ You see this is American problem !! They never open their eyes they just feel with their hands but with closed eyes !! That’s why American army was able to kill civilian children women and elderly innocent people all over the world !! More than 1 million Iraqis More than 1,5 million afghans More than half million Syrian More than 250,000 Somalian More than 250,000 Libyan More than half million Yemenis ! All these innocent people that got killed by your army is just like a fart in open air to you isn’t it ?? How about thinking about what would you want from American if your 8 years old sister and 5 years old brother and your new born niece together with your sister and her husband they all would be torn into parts after a USA army bomber have thrown a 500 kg bomb on your house and then you see one leg here and other leg 100 feet away and one head that has been cut off is here and the body without arms and legs is under blocks of cement and you see one other head that you can’t describe if it’s your sister or your brother but then you see the earring and then you know it !! People in Afghanistan and Yemen and Syrian Somalia Libya each country that has been touched by USA had to see their loved ones without head or without arms and legs because of USA bombing !! Those who support the killing of innocent children women and civilian will burn in hell for supporting and sending their children abroad to kill people and destroy their lives and their country and not protesting and try to at least raise their voices against the killing !!!

Tyler Potts he means that he had “remarkable access” by having the personal number of MBS and how the journalist also had access to many high ranking officials. This is in part because PBS and Frontline are well respected. But it’s also because Martin Smith, the journalist, is also highly respected. @UC4BEOqRDoS3n_TVNxfwiv3g There's alot of bad actors currently serving as world leaders. They've all been party to this since ww2. I try not to condemn a country or its culture, for i know that most have been through a reengineering or reprogramming by others who came in as sheep, but were and are, wolves. China is a perfect example of this. They were visited by Maltese Cross bearing men who told them, you "deserve to be worshipped as gods, not men". They handed over the tools and teachings that would forever change their history. The same thing happened with the Saudis. This time, by the Country who has been notorious for initiating war under false pretenses, stealing all the resources, raping and pillaging, and still today, making other Countries pay them taxes, for their damages. They've ALREADY made Bin Salam a target with the use of TAVISTOCK operations, using. MABUS as the name in their created NOSTRADAMAS stories. I could go on and on. But, unless China and Saudi Arabia see how they've manipulated into these positions, and that a 3rd world war will NOT lead to any of them holding some prominent power in the world, but SUBJECTS OF ROME. And Caesar will enslave all of you. That's been his dream. I reject and rebuke all his ambitions, that and of his literal Luciferian crowd. Remember, its all about the NORDIC look. May God give us tge strength and wisdom to take this beast down, finally.

Your governments can't prove anything against our kings, all you can say is that he probably did, so you build facts without evidence just as you made wars against the countries of the Middle East, Vietnam and Afghanistan and stole their resources You are trying to discredit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in more than one way. Once they say our relationship with Israel is against the Palestinians, and once you imagine a school and food stores, and you say Saudi Arabia bombed a school when in fact they are headquarters for the weapons of terrorist militias that your Western governments secretly support. This is all nonsense to discredit Saudi Arabia and put pressure on it because it The center of Islam in the world, you want us to depend on oil until it ends and we don't have power, then you control us , Your governments that killed tens of millions in the First and Second World Wars, all western, the Vietnam War, millions were killed, the occupation of Africa and its resources plundered to this day, the occupation of Afghanistan and its resources stolen from the lithium between the mountains whose value is estimated at more than a trillion dollars and the killing of hundreds of thousands, the occupation of Iraq and the theft of oil and Starvation and displacement of most of the people and support for terrorist militias for tens of years, occupation and destruction of Libya and support for militias in it and your governments’ killing of millions of innocent people, occupation of Syria and the theft of oil in it, support for terrorist militias, occupation of Palestine in 1948, support for Jewish gangs and then the formation of the Israeli occupation state, which strives to discredit Islam and the Arabs In particular, all this happened with the malicious planning of your murderous terrorist governments that destroyed the countries of the Middle East, and before you did this, they fabricated the events of September and tarnished the reputation of the Arabs in particular, and likened us to the terrorists and bloodthirsty thugs in Hollywood movies and your fake media, all this to justify their diabolical actions. This nothing more than a US/Saudi PR campaign to repair MBS's image after the disgraceful murder of a journalist. Frontline is, and has always been, a carefully crafted program that is aimed at having the feel of depth, multivariable angles and hard hitting, investigation journalism. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Your comment let's me know that this government propaganda peice is doing it job well: reshape the minds of the US population post Saudi scandal so that ongoing weapons sales is never questioned or looked at as evil. Congrats, you are brainwashed!

Kevin365 I find this almost 2 hour video a complete sham.

Good observation - PBS's programs are the epitome of journalism, especially their Frontline Editions. They are the only organization to practice the ART of Journalism. If you desire to be the most knowledgeable person in a room, watch PBS. Check out the Putin 5 part series. If an AC falls on my head I'll make sure to leave everything to PBS.

I think in addition to being a major point of interest, Khashoggi was also meant as a plot device to illustrate the documentary's central theme of MBS's rise to power and the controversial implications thereof. The War in Yemen is rolled into all that, but its totality is beyond the scope of this film. As the other commenters have mentioned, it gets the attention it deserves in other PBS documentaries in which it's the main subject.
