There can not be a Palestinian state for the same reasons as in 1948 partition plan. Too many chiefs amd not enough Indians. They never agree, all want to control the aid money like Arafat did (psst, when he went to hell his family got his hundreds of millions embezzled from "his people" and live in luxury in Paris France). The "West Bank" will NEVER cooperate with Gaza. The only thing all the groups agree on is they all want to rule. They DO NOT WANT a 2 state solution. They want to inherit the land from the Ottomans who lost it in WW1. They also want to inherit it as their "Mufti" sided with the Axis in WW2 and they want to inherit that too. Does this man understand that they have never been able to run any sort of functioning goverment, security, a police force, an economy, an maintenance of infrastructure. As with the water situation; 158 is usually blamed, but what is not mentioned is the theft, lack of basic maintenance of water purification facilities, and they ultimately left to a waste of resources due to leaks which caused flooding. You can look up all of these instances. They never had or wanted a government, because they disagreed among themselves on too many things. You people make all these suggestions, but you have yet to answer who is going to form and oversee this "government"??? Nobody. It does not matter what countries recognize them, they don't recognize it in all reality. Do they have the legitimate personnel to fill these positions of government? Has the palestinian Authority ever been able to contain, or have order in areas like Nablus, Jenin, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and parts of East Jerusalem. These are the hot spots. I implore you to go there. Of the over 160 suicide bombings that were committed since 2000, they came from the areas I just mentioned. The radicalization in these areas is ripe ie. the glorification of killing yourself and Israeli citizens (Muslim,Jew,Christian,Druze,Bedouin, it never mattered to them) with the promise of their clerics and Imams that use the Hadiths verifies they will go to a "paradise" aka Heaven, be given pleasures of the flesh, and all sorts of other things; it's what they believe. You do not understand these people because you don't know them. I do, personally. Since 1964 and especially in the late 90's these beliefs became more prevalent and if not, murder was seen as "resistance" and justification for wars they lost in the past eg. 1948, 1967, & 1973. Side by side in peace? That's a great idea, but the Pal's do not share your sentiment. Also, the members of the (PA) Palestinian Authority that were in Gaza during the coup were executed and thrown off building and yes, it some were filmed. Do you think Abbas would have gone to Gaza before October 7th ? The answer is NO? Perhaps you should review the images of the civilians when Hamas and PIJ were bring the hostages into Gaza; they wanted to rip them to pieces themselves and at times, Hamas had to protect them with force. They can not, and will not rule themselves to the expectations of any legitimate United Nations, unless the UN is to now Occupy Gaza, and parts of the West Bank. I admire some of these speakers for even mentioning the victims of October 7th and the hostages being held, and those that have already been killed. You call for the immediate release of hostages? What have you done about it? Hamas and PIJ does not recognize your "authority". You people are seriously disillusioned. There are videos shot of aid being SOLD from one Pal to another Pal, so there is something none of you are grasping here.

Question here… will Palestinians accept a 2 state solution?

Hard to tell. I think after losing 40000 people, they probably will be open to it. But “will Israel recognize it?” is the bigger question.

I think they will if Israel actually goes by the agreements. A lot of the issues among ths Palestinians from what i could gather was sovereignty,borders, east Jerusalem, Israeli settlements/encroachment, and of course the right of return of refugees. My main concern would be Israel,especially it's far right which seem to very hellbent with creating more illegal settlements, unlawful persecution and violence to Palestinians before oct 7 and other things that cimes with such an system of occupation. So technically the question is would srael accept the 2 state solution. i just hope all who are responsible to the horrendous crimes are brought to justice on both sides and new elections/governments that are far less radical.
