Sad to wake up to the news of TK passing. He’s our own here in Oklahoma. So dedicated to raising millions for children with cancer and building housing for parents and the children while getting cancer treatments. Gonna miss him greatly. Thank you for mentioning it.

I finally had a chance to watch this so don't know if you will see this comment but I wanted you to know I enjoyed watching and listening to this Stitchy talk. I do understand that it may feel awkward to you to fill the time with conversation but you seemed very comfortable with it and I really thought you did a wonderful job! Thanks for sharing your time with us!!

Loved seeing all your Valentines stitching. Thanks for talking about the "quilt police" and cross stitching "police". I like my own "rules" and am so much happier following them. I am really nervous of stitching on black fabric. I would love to see some projects that are shown on black but could be stitched on other colors of fabric.

I loved this episode of Stitchy Talk as well as all the others. I enjoy watching people stitch and always seem to pick up something new. This one was very enjoyable for me because I felt like you were in ‘Karen’s Craft Room’ just chatting away and keeping me company. Please keep doing stitch alongs even though you didn’t think this show was as good as some of the others.

Hi Team. Thank you for the stitchy talk. Love 'em, even though I can't do live! I've learnt so much by watching. I think they're perfect as is. It's fun following Kimberly's train of thought. She could talk about paint drying and I'd tune in every time. Suggestion for discussion: I know Kimberly hasn't the time to tackle a HAED or Tilton Crafts style piece, but would like to hear her thoughts on large full coverage pieces. (If you haven't seen Gecko Rouge's Firefly, it's worth a look.) ⚘️

Love watching you stitch. You are so talented. I’m afraid to try black cloth. I’m more comfortable with Aida.

I put this in the live comments, but want to let you know you can paint a coat of liquid bandage on the fingertip that gets poked, letting it dry before stitching. It helps a lot (and stays rather flexible.) I use it for my underhand fingertip when hand quilting.

Thanks for the stitch talk. Last week you showed organization tips for the Friday quilting video. They were so great, I’m really grateful for all your cutting and organizing tips to make us more efficient! I’m known to be efficient and that’s the one thing that gets on my nerves when I’m making a quilt. Sometimes I feel frustrated because I think there’s got to be a better way to lay everything out, and then you show me! Fantastic.

Wow! THis is my first Stitchy Talk! How much fun! Thank you for keeping it real. I laughed when you were so excited when you joined the right side! I agree on a lot of things... except football!! I LOVE Football, and that's the only sport I really watch. It could be the 4 years of high school when I was in band and we went to every single game... who knows!! HA! I do know there is a LOT of drama in high school... I work with them every day. I hope you have a good evening and GO COWBOYS!!! 😂 ( BTW That story was really cute too about the dog names!!) 💙🪡

I did not know Toby Keith had passed.😢 You never know what you are going to learn on an FQS video. I am stitching the Valentine Quaker from Primrose Cottage. During the Super Bowl I am going to knit on a baby blanket as I will be too anxious to count stitches accurately!! ❤️💛GO CHIEFS!!💛❤️🏈

I haven’t seen any new charts yet that I’m itching to have. It’s hard to find one place where you can see all of them. I really don’t need any more right now. I e more than enough to keep me busy for a long time. I really get more interested when I see them finished.

I’m a newbie to cross stitch. From your shop can you recommend a pattern or kit for me? Enjoyed the video today even though I was watching on replay. I didn’t know anything about sports until I married my husband and we had 3 sons. My mother asked my husband what was i going to do when our last son was born and he told her she’s made this far she will just learn more now. I love sports now.

Loved spending time with you all. Great idea doing some videos at Needle Market to show us what it's like to be there. Could you interview Liz Matthews and her Mom (Kathy Barrick)? IDEA: I would love to see how Cheryl keeps the back of her stitching so neat, like how she does her X's, is she planning ahead for the next section to set up her stitches? I do know she doesn't use the loop method but what other tips does she have? Thank you for telling us about Toby Keith, I hadn't heard anything. I really liked him and his music. Thank you for all you share and do for us.

I liked the Stitchy Talk today. Since I watched Cross Stitch University I feel like a pro. I have been cross stitching for years, but I noticed immediate improvement in the neatness of my stitches and I have less excess thread on the back. Maybe it’s a trade secret, but I would love to see how a cross stitch pattern is made. I’m not an artist, but curious how it comes together. Football? 🥱 Sports in general bore me out of my mind. So glad my boys chose music over sports.
