This make me think of someone stole my wallet and return 10% of the cash I had and i still have to say Thank you..

My suggestions are to exclude GST from basic foods and necessities. For example, rice, flour, noodles, oil, milk, salt, sugar etc. National Service is a huge sacrifice of people careers and is a financial burden to lots of Singaporeans. I would suggest that a regular salary instead of an allowance is implemented, going forward. Singapore should do more to avoid less pollution. I would suggest that a mandate be reached to allow for 30% of all cars to be electric or hydrogen and another 20% to be hybrid. I would also suggest more incentives, to allow for private homes to install solar panels on the roof.

It just makes no sense not to provide skillsfuture top up to those from 30 to 39 years old where they need it the most to upgrade new skills

In conclusion, "cotton man" is sleeping on his job....being a minister of education still never do any improvements on the educational system....ever wonder why LKY era, u see lots of A level students left Singapore n pursue a degree in overseas 1) Singapore degrees r not matching up to world standards 2) the practicality of the up n coming workforce requires for new foreign investors...., not enuff foresight by the Sg government.... 3) the Sg govt only work alongside with the foreign investors on low paying jobs....like industrial attachments for poly n ITE....correct me if I m wrong.... 4) the worst of all, the current students r study old or rn technologies, not considering tat after 3-5 years later, the technology trends might change 😂 Henceforth, the students r labelled out of touch, the very seconds they graduate....🤦‍♀️Tbh, the Sg education system, is about 10 yrs behind the current world technology...

Even when the growth is low, the returns from reserves together with government revenues will certainly be sufficient. Of course Singapore then could not spend too much on defence. So the Minister ought not paint a too bad picture.

tax funded payouts support spending, and prevents recession. GDP is also linked to minister salaries.

Foreign worker levy is tough for companies. Example $800 per worker per month x no. of WP holders (millions) = will make govt very rich & companies poor. Do not increase water bill, gst & hdb property tax. HDB flat is no longer considered an asset/inheritance to pass on to generation but govt charge levy, tax, etc. At the end its not freehold & go back to govt.

What you said is spot on! The truth is that the imports that we have are of much lower standards than us. Not only do they cost us, they come here and lower our standards. What you said is exactly true. Just look at their country. LW is as hopeless as LHL. Look at how they mismanage the pandemic. In some countries outside SG, the ruling party may buy support using tax payer money. SG is not like that. The ruling party never use people money for political reasons. It's for love. Love of people. So I foresee, with reserves secrecy and the tight control of using it eg. Used in this budget, our beloved party shall rule eternally. The irony is that the PAP didn't even come out with much new alternative policies in its manifesto, while the WP did. With all the resources at its disposal, shouldn't we be asking the PAP why it didn't even bother to create new policies that address Singaporeans' concerns about minimum wage, healthcare, education, housing and retirement?

Don't you even know Singapore has one of the best education, housing and helathcare and a competitive working and living enviroment? What minimum wages? This already shows that you don't know about your country. If you don't even live here, then you don't talk nonsense. What's the reason why Singapore has lots of foreigners coming and most Singaporeans haven't immigrated? That is because of high wages. Are Singaporeans suffering from not having enough money to pay for essential needs? No! Stop taking previleges for granted and think you can enjoy them in other countries. PAP night fail in one thing but overall, PAP did a very good job in making Singapore prosperous and successful. For retirement, the government has been supporting the older generation that need support because the retired. You are a useless citizens knowing how to talk nonsense. Remove retirement age. Continuous life long learning with training + matching job will make sure that every Singaporean stay relevant for as long as they are alive. Both skillfuture credit, upskill, reskill + job matching will ensure skills & job & over time the budget will tie Singaporean over high cost of living, depression & stackflation. Maximise every HDB rooftop or gardening plot to plant their own food + community prepping so that community + govt work together.
