I'm from Washington State you the best I too am in to jems I am in to sterling silver and make jewelry ben into it for 20 years u have shown me so much it's great to learn something new keep up the amazing work u look like you have lot the fun I love the row stones no resen just the stone treating it is a sin my name is Angela your work is awesome !!!!!!!
One thing you might want to consider Justin. Not everyone can afford Opals that are not doublets. I gave a doublet to my Mom for her 75th birthday. She loved it and will not be reselling it and she was told it was doublet. A very special gift not matter if it a doublet or not. Not everyone is scrupulous! There is a place for them!
Ontario, Canada, Cheers Saxon and Justin, glad to see you without that brace Saxon!!!
Being from the UK, I appreciated the use of proper Englander language throughout this video. Warmed the earlings. Well done on the pochings.

When you have a cut like that, use super glue to close it up. It will make it more comfortable. Dr's do it, so why not. Thanks for sharing your talents.

Because it’s not “super glue” they use…… 🤭

Did you blow in from somewhere? Doctors use medical grade glue, NOT super glue.

That was my favourite too.
Justin, there is a product here in the States that bowlers (and chefs) use on hand cuts and blisters. It goes by many names but primarily it is a liquid bandage. It burns like a house afire, but it protects a cut or blister, keeps it clean and bowlers and chefs can still do what they need to. It's better than a rubber thimble or bandage.
Great day!!!!❤
Hello, just logged in and seen you were live but I missed it. Watching and Looking forward to watching you work magic!
Thank you Justin & Saxon !Beautiful cutting going on! Fabulous opals… See you next week as well!

Glad you enjoyed it!
Hope your back continues getting better Saxon. I broke my back a couple of years ago, it was a stable break so didn't have to wear a brace. I'm still not better but I don't have age on my side!
Also from Ontario, Canada. Love seeing the flashes of light from such tiny tones. That lime-green flash is amazing.

Canucks love Opal yes we do! MK here in Owen SOund, Ontario! -) Waves to fellow Canucks on the live here! :-)
Kevin from Beaconsfield in Victoria, talk about fishing stories, did you know the fisheries tagged some barramundi about 5 months ago, and different tags were worth different amounts of money, the top prize being a million dollars. It was to help promote tourism in the top end. It was caught by a young Aboriginal local, which was good to see. Did you hear about the tagged fish while you were up there. Good to see your backs on the mend Saxon. I missed the libe due to work and I'm watching at 11.30 pm. Enjoy your fish tacos. Kevin from Beaconsfield Victoria. 😊
U guys are awesome. I love fishing, he’s a real camper doing it in a back brace lol I’m glad he’s doing better now. Thank u for sharing so much about my favorite gems💎 u give me so much insight.

Hello!! Colorado here! Sorry I missed the live! I got the notification after it was over!!! LOL
Hello from Dallas TX!
Thank you for showing that it is definitely worth the effort to cut tiny opals, too! Most of us can't afford to buy the large pieces of rough, but I have had a lot of satisfaction from tiny fragments!
Love the stories. Wagga mate
Love your show. This one had the first 7 minutes really low sound 🔊
So nice to see that Saxon is doing better again! Equal nice to see you Justin and your cute dog! Beautiful opals too of course as usual 👋💎👍 and i'm sending greetings to you all at BOD, take care! 👋🇸🇪♥️👍!
Thank you Justin for another awesome video bringing out the color of these Opals ! I especially love the little sliver off the Opal that you did early today ! Take care , stay safe and healthy my friends in Australia ! Glad to hear that Saxon is doing better and praying everything will be fine !
Awesome job Justin!!
What I'm seeing today is that there are some really cool and unique opals😮!!! I get itJustin. When you cut the stone down and let all the colors that peoples see, go. I understand now that to get a precious stone you have to sacrifice some of the color to get the value of the stone. And not just by dollar bills, but the value of the stone itself. The stone deserves that and God bless you because you did that!!! You give us that!!! Thank you.(sorry I just got excited)😂😅❤😮 A priceless stone, a priceless act!
G'Day Justin and Saxon and poooch from Owen Sound (Georgian Bay) Ontario! Lovely to see you looking so well, especially Saxon! :-)))

On #2 cut, I think I would have gone for a thick double sided cut, with the black potch in between.. (says the old lady who has never even seen a gem wheel, in person)
Next time you have a cut like that, try some triple anti biotic ointment it will heal literally 2-3 times faster
Heck. I missed. Had to go into shop. I'm here now though. Better late than never. 😊

Hello from Colorado!!!!!!
Really enjoyed the opal cutting action! Thank you for sharing. You make manipulating small opals look much easier than it is, haha. Those little suckers get super slippery!
Hello 👋🏻 from Wisconsin USA
A perfectly fitted surgical glove might work for cuts like that
Nice Justin! Thanks for the double uploads this evening. Something to do with being blind and it might gross people out? That has to be some type of creature found down in opal mines. P.S. Saxon is an awesome name for a boy. Wish I thought of that one for my boys. Good job, mom and dad.

The man's so committed to cutting that he cut his own finger. Little disturbing but I can respect it.

Kinda random thought bc we work with them at work atm but how about you ask someone with a industrial ct scanner to scan dwaine and make a 3d model of its insides?

What do you think of the lightning ridge speaking bags you can get on easy? I have purchased 4 of them so far but not too sure if they are worth it or not. Or is there somewhere else you would recommend purchasing decent rough opal from that has potential. Once I cut and polish opal how would you recommend trying to sell them or do you ever apraise opal if someone was to send some to you?
Buffalo NY
Use some super glue on that cut finger
What happens to the opal chips when you are done?
