That was the Amnesty International concert in 1990 which took place in Santiago Chile. It was organized to celebrate Chile's return to democracy after the 17-year dictatorship by Augusto Pinochet. Many international stars were part of this lineup: Tracy Chapman, Ruben Blades, Sinead, Peter Gabriel, NKOTB, Sting, among others.

Even though people hated her for what she said on SNL, it turned out that she was right.
This is her abolute best performance of this...pure....raw... I get goosebumps. A masterpiece
That's our Irish Sinead. A bit crazy, suffered two family tragedies. See the official video too. Also the backing instrumentals need a mention.
Prince's state should be grateful to Sinead for making this song grate and earning a lot of money for them. RIP Sinead from Sweden.

Hands down Sinead killed this song! no one can compare ❤ she was leading a movement while no one stood by her, I remember asking my mom at 6 why no one liked her anymore 😢. I wish I was old enough to stand with her😢 Long live this beautiful soul ❤
There's so many great musicians, great vocals, great music, great singers ..only difference was Sinead brought light, life and same time kept the fire and tone in her art , no wasting time on pieces or stuff thats trashy, perversed plus unrealistic value .. you can see she's made her craft and presence exponential during her lifetime.. she's not that typical glam pop nor angst punk rocker .. she's such a sublime rock star angel .. R.I.P. angel Sinead 🔥❤️

It's the flag of Chile, but, the two are VERY similar. Like, almost identical.

Well, Nothing Compares 2U was recorded by the family in 1985. Prince had done studio recording of it in 1984 but it had not been heard since it was never released. In 2018 posthumous album called Originals is when his original recording was heard

Thank you someone who finally knows the origin of this song. If you get a chance the group Prince gave this song to was called The Family they now go by the name fDeluxe and when he died they redid the song and their version is amazing you should check it out if you get a chance.

@@kaula300 yes it’s very frustrating when people go oh I know the Prince version from when it was released in the 80s . I say no you know. I’ll say you might know The Family version and they were like no it was Prince. Then I just let it grow. Yeah it’s a good version.

Many said, she was not quite right in the head back then..... In the change-push masses of today, it could be said of them. Making Sinead look more traditional. PS: Symphonic Metal band, WITHIN TEMPTATION, has a 2011 song called Sinead, but it is more pop-rock sounding.
