Here is a funny challenge for you… blindfold the husbands and have them each pick a fabric, and no matter what they pick, make a quilt out of it! lol😂😂😂😂

Took hubby with me during local shop hop last year turned my back to look at items and suddenly he walked up to me with 3 bolts of fabric under his arm. He had no idea what I should make from these fabrics. He just thought the prints were very cool! Lol
My policy is to always buy 4 yards when fabric shopping. Then when I make mistakes or want to add a boarder, or make pillow covers, I can 😊

For sew alongs, it’s nice when the pattern is provided at no charge.
Have enjoyed John showing prints for men and boys.
I'm working on my quilt of the month now. Love this concept.
At the moment I have a quilt pinned and ready for hand quilting, but with excessive heat and no ac, it's sitting in a time out. But I still watch all these videos. Always inspirational. Thank you.
I have been a quilter for years. I just discovered your 3 yard quilts, what a blessing. Nothing like a fast easy quilt to toss together.

Donna and Hannah. Great discussion. I took a Christmas pattern and used patriotic fabric. It was great. Was going to give it for DAR fundraiser but decided to keep it. Made another for them.

I love the quilt of the month, just seem to be a month behind. How about one where you take a simple 3YQ and see how hard you can make it LOL. I'll send a Pic of one where I ( first) used a one way fabric) and then decided to fussy cut the small ( 3 1/2 in) squares!

Is there an app we can get that will show what a pattern will look like in your chosen fabric, like you do on your videos? That would be so helpful!!

Enjoyed this. Watched a replay. My problem with your patterns is I can never decide which one to do. I have most of your books.

Hello!
Here in Vegas we are having a major heat wave with excessive heat warnings everyday. Its hot misery! No end in sight.
It would be great if you could list the name of the individual fabric in your kits. Sometimes, I see a fabric I have, and would love to find the coordinating fabrics and already also have the book or pattern

Some of the other pattern designers (Corey Yoder, Sherry of A Quilting Life and also Bev McCollough all sell one of their patterns every month for $5 (down loadable version). Is there any chance Fabric Cafe might do this?

Anita, this is helpful feedback! I will be sure to bring it up to the team.
Hannah, you might need your eyes checked if it has been a while. Notice you are squinting more than Donna. Also on quilt of the month, I think it would be awesome if you were to make it a free pattern that would be wonderful. I know you normally give away 4 or 5 a year, but this would replace those. Thanks for your consideration. I would love to be sewing along.

Hello ladies, I’m Wanda from Baltimore, Maryland. I just finished a crib size quilt using the pattern Button Box It’s in the Quilts in a Jiffy book. With the extra blocks I made using the pattern, I made a car seat cover. I also have 20 books and waiting on new ones 😊
