WOW! This was a great show. I know that there are a lot of people who are learning about quilting by beginning with 3 yard quilts. Your walk through of this pattern from start to finish is very clear and instructive. I love chain piecing and I use the hole in the middle of a small spool of thread. I put a seam ripper in the hole and rip through the connecting stitches.

Fran, For the HST, I keep the seam line right in the center but I move the needle to the right one position. I find this method to be easier to accomplish and giving a more accurate size when done. Just move the needle 😉

The fabric for Yuletide is sold out but after searching I found some online. Can’t wait to make this!!!

I love the Pop of Pink. What is the program you use to show the different ( fabric ) in the quilts ?

We use a program called Electric Quilt 8, however there is a browser based program called PreQuilt you can use that have many of our patterns prebuilt. You can find it at www.prequilt.com. With PreQuilt you can mix and match pre-loaded fabrics to see what it will look like.

I have not had an issue with Best Press shrinking the fabric. I use it liberally when making a quilt top. Happy you enjoyed the tutorial! Fran

All of our quilt patterns vary slightly, but this pattern finishes at 39.5" x 56.5".
