my dad use to be in a 150 man choir called Vocal Majority, and they would do this with crowds some times, and it's amazing how it always works and sounds beautiful

Anyone can learn to control the overtones and make melodies with regular practice. I believe that the hardest part is to sing with that typical timbre of the drone voice (like at the beginning of the video), anyway it can be done even with a relaxed throat

He was treated so unfairly on -the Voice.hopes he becomes even more famous now!!

It is/was Mongolian throat singing! Quit normal in Mongolia! People really aught to travel more! There is a whole world to discover!!!

When the audience kicked in on his signal....massive goose bumps. They all sounded frigging amazing.

I saw an exhibit called “Citizen’s Band” with this man and I cried when I first saw it. I cried again when I watched this.

I do not understand why his voice makea me cry in good way when i watched him in THE VOICE....amazing amazing voice😍😍😍😍😍

This is honestly one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard. Even the crowd keeping that perfect harmony❤ Wish I was there.

I have so much respect for a musician of this calibre. I love throat singing.. such a skill.

I'm not glad I'm genuinely depressed tht he went to voice if he knew only tht voice is like wholesome marketplace and not good place for creative artists like him he might have ended on better side !

As soon as he hits those snares I get overwhelmed and tear up. As if a feeling of sadness and heartbreak, but also breakthrough, fight, victory and pride takes over. And his singing....pfff. So so spiritual and beautiful ❤

This is a Mongolian traditional throat singing, if anything the soundtrack was indeed used in the Total War which is common for game soundtrack usages. As well as in Star Wars they used Mongolian dialect and sped up the process so it sounds like an alien language. It’s very cool!

I LOVE the simple life of Mongolian people....The Mountain Grassland and Nature

Amazingly beautiful. More than music, more than a melody, I feel there is a spiritual connection to the Universe when I hear this style of singing. The drone of Buddhist monks meets out-of-this-world overtones. The choir was fantastic too.

Australian aboriginal culture is 40,000 years old - or more ... simply having a droning note in music is not a new idea (as shown by the Australian Aborigines) .. Scottish bagpipes and Uilean pipes came up with the same idea about 40,000 years later too. This does not suggest there is a connection between Scots and Australian aborigines.
