First list. He has Logan on foot. But no unit? Is Logan's buffs good enough to have him just for that? I would imagine he dies rather quickly without a unit or lone op?

I've run him solo a few times. Either hide him way back and use him to protect your backfield/home objective, or pop him in Deep Strike and use him if you draw a suitable secondary in turn 2 or 3 (Behind, Engage, even some of the new action ones like Sabotage). His ability is "omnipotent" and can be used from reserves and reaches the entire table so he doesn't HAVE to be up close and personal, and even solo he is both tanky and killy enough to go up against other skirmishers (compare him to a Scout squad for example).

I've seen a few people run him this way. I personally don't care for it but some people are having success with it.
