Xinjiang is the main cotton production region. And since the ban on Xinjiang cotton led by America Xinjiang's cotton industry has suffered tremendously. A lot of people's life were affected. People there definitely have an attitude towards America. Only to the government but not the people.

Hey everyone knows the US government always has your best interests at heart and will do whatever it takes to help you, even if it means you'll likely be destroyed in the process. Weird thing is Americans don't trust their government. Oh well, I'm sure those people in Xinjiang appreciate being used for the greater good of US politicians, just like the people in the Middle East.

I am a Shanghai local people. The pork ribs and rice cakes you ate in the previous video have recently become internet celebrity delicacies because of Wong Kar Wai's TV series "Complicated Flowers".

Happy chinese New Year to both of you. When I was still a student , I saw a documentary film of unit 731 in a theatre n remember I threw up after I came out of the theatre. Really horrors of horrors . Dont think I can go to the museum and not throw up after coming out.

Xinjiang! Very very nice place. Highly recommended for your next China series. Xinjiang is huge, I mean it is considered huge in China. It is three times bigger than German. Basically Xinjiang has two parts the northern and the southern divided by Tien Shan mountains. The northern part is nomadic style similar to Kazakhstan where southern part is close to Pakistan with Arabic and Persian influence. Very beautiful scenery and friendly people. A lot of ethnic groups there resemble caucasion or turkic look. You will be mistakn as locals there a lot like Ivana be mistaken as Chinese.

Since 2004 Nanning Guangxi is our home base. Guilin a tourist area. Our uncle built their home in 1940 during the Japanese occupation. We still use the hiding caves for bug out equipment, just in case, shtf worldwide. Otherwise Safety is #1 wherever we travel in China. Love China! Yes our uncle still farms and their age is 100 + and good health. We visit them 3 to 5 times a year. As for our choice of city in China... all of them are unique after traveling for 6 + years. Can I plug my mind into KZread? Only few locations to vi😢sit before starting over! ❤❤❤ ❤ China! Traveling full time is our retirement dream! Sometimes difficult as we check in at night ... yes I have a residence permit. Life on the road is the best of life ... our lifestyle, in 20 years has changed. My life is great with a fantastic wife and family... 20 years of happiness! The blogs/videos are great!

Xinjiang is huge. It is 1/6 of China. It is not the easiest part to travel , cuz all the attractions are so far away from each other. But Xinjiang is so beautiful.

You should go see the Great Mosque of Xi’an. It was the highlight of my last visit in December. I was born and raised in Xi’an, but still pleasantly surprised. I’ve heard of it growing up but never visited.

You need to obtain a 10 year visa to China so that you can travel in different provinces in China. Every Province has its unique culture in China.

Go Hainan Sunya it’s has different vibes plus the tropical weather. Actually China is so big every city has their own vibe and dialect, China has 59 ethnic groups with different customs.

The infrastructures and most important public services such as schools, hospitals, transportation, powerlines etc, are government owned and operated. Thus it is not will not be chasing revenue the way private sector does, hence the cheap prices.
