This is The Digital Orphanage's first live stream. Join me as I don a fetching pair of rubber gloves and set about cleaning the contents of the 8bit cabinet display and have a general chat about what's in the cabinet and whatever else we decide to talk about. Mrs TDO is on hand to read chat messages to me and keep me supplied with coffee!

Lol, Keith are you the Mrs Overall of Retro Computing? Gives Acorn Antiques a whole new meaning. 😄

🤣 But we didn't get to the Acorn cabinet, those were in the next cabinet along!

They really have made a lovely looking computer in the Next, but I just wasn't a Speccy person.

Yes, i had both romantic robot one and +3 version as a programer i loved the fact you could stop and program and jump into your own code which could be installed into it`s own ram.

That most have great for debugging. They released their own Insider programme on the CPC to use the RAM in the Multiface 2. I sold my Multiface 2 to help fund my Amiga but I've since bought a replacement for nostalgia purposes. I used it for cheat hacks too :-)

Ah just googled that and it's a nice looking keyboard upgrade for a Spectrum. I think I've seen one, or something very similar in the museum archives.

A remote mic would of been brilliant for this video.. having to really ramp up the volume to hear you. Also the camera is doing weird and wacky focusing. I do realise it was live but just wanted to let you know.

Thank you. Yes already noted and something I need to resolve. I'm currently live streaming from my phone and the KZread software has precisely zero adjustment settings :-(. I plan to get a better streaming setup for the museum though which will allow me to use my radio lapel mics and see chat.
