We have something like the Stampede here in New Zealand, it's called the Field days...but since we not interested, we never been. It is interesting that the livestream was very good indoors.

Osmond Family were all over television akin to a Mormon version of The Jacksons. If you know Michael and Janet, you’d know Donnie and Marie. 😁

Silly, Alina, she's back in Canada when it's warm and in the summertime. She can't handle the winter. Go wonder. The next upcoming winter trip: Africa!!!! Whole new world and is filled with interesting topography and very diverse. Warm, too.

What! 😳 I was there a few hours ago. I got in for free; five minutes before they charged entrance fee. We were like sardines inside the train. Also welcome back to Calgary! Tip: There’s a free Walking Grandstand Tour by the Nutrien building from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, every day. I got to go underneath the Grandstand and the top which is called “Eye in the Sky.” It was the perfect view of the rodeo. So it’s possible not to spend anything in the Stampede. But there are lots of delicious food. Another show not to miss is the Dog Show (unfortunately I missed it 😅). Have fun in the Stampede! 🤠🍦 🍟

You mentioned about touring places in SK. Have you visited Melville Beach in the Qu'Appelle Valley (just south of Melville, SK)? You can see a drone tour of the valley, mountains (decent sized hills), and lakes on KZread. It's stunning and one of the top wonders of the province. Good Spirit Lake Provincial Park near Yorkton (just north of Melville) is also quite pleasant. It's home to one of the top 10 beaches in Canada according to Maclean's magazine.

As kids, at the Toronto CNE, our spot to go to if we got separated was the Shell Tower. The CNE also has the zipper ride, I was never brave enough to go on it. Marie Osmond is a member of the Osmond Family/Donny Osmond. They were a very popular musical group in the 70s and on. Donny and Marie often have a show in Las Vegas and they tour.
