I lost my dad over 10 years ago and miss him every single day, it never gets easier. 😔 Seeing the way your dad looks at you and interacts with you makes my heart happy! I used to cry just thinking about losing my mom or dad. Almost three years after losing my oldest son and still grieving many days like it was yesterday, their deaths will be a piece of cake. My dad just turned 89, and my mom is 86.

I paused it at 7:47, you and your dad lying down smiling with the dogs around you guys, as you test out the truck. I lost my dad in a motorcycle accident and I crave that relationship we had. I see it in the relationship you have with your dad. I watch you guys and I reminisce. I am a dedicated viewer of yours, I watch your videos every week and I comment often. Thank you for bringing such positivity to the internet. Every where you go, physically, and online, you leave everything better than you found it. Sending you, your fambam, the dogs and Justin love from Simi Valley, CA. ❤

Its still so alien to me even at 42 seeing families get on so well and show so much love for each other. Ive never had that, so it feels good everytime im reminded that what my 'normal' was, wasnt normal at all. ❤

I love your dad’s “Shake it up” dance. 😂 Your entire family seems so sweet and fun! Also, I’ve been noticing over the last couple of videos how you simultaneously highlight out of the way places (such as many in Nevada) while keeping details vague in more well known places, and I love that as it encourages us both to visit out of the way places and to “hike our own home” so to speak.

Your dad is absolutely delightful, and you look so much like your mother.

Your mom is a sweetheart, but I can see where you get most of your personality from. Your Dad, he is a hoot!!!

Cherish your parents. So much of their life was wrapped up in your young self so that you could successfully adventure solo on your journey in life. After my service in the military, I made it a point to spend as much time with my father as I could. For 17 years I spent just about every Sunday with him, often times more. I could count on 1 hand the Sundays I missed. We spent so much time in my car driving to wherever he wanted to go and see, that I still sometimes can feel him in the passenger seat, and as long as I don't look, its as if he is there, singing "On the road again" like we did every time we got into the car. Despite all that, when he passed in 2015 , I wish I had doubled it, it wasn't enough.

I love your parents. They are such fun and so kind ❤

This was so fun...your happy optimism and love of life is clearly hereditary 😊...your dogs adore their grandparents...

Lost my mom and my niece in a car accident in ‘05 when the other driver fell asleep. I’m 63 and the same age as my mom when she died. It was a tough thing to realize now that she had so much life ahead of her. It makes you appreciate everything more for sure.

Love that your parents were with you. Your dad is a hoot, great sense of humor and your sweet mom is lovely, shes so tiny and cute she had to bundle up quickly to be warm. I really like the truck camper too, it's well thought out!

I'm not trying to be rude but it's just when I watch videos on KZread some things I see send questions screaming through my brain. When I saw today's video, it was good to see that you made sure that you, Mom and Dad were all buckled up but then I see that Camper and Rodney aren't. Then I thought should something unexpected happen, they would fly around the car cabin or possibly out the window. Please secure your little ones too!

Also wanted to say you inspired us to go to a rescue to bring home a new furry friend and we named her Cookie, she's a small black Chug and we're all living happily ever after! I was car camping in a Bronco Sport and I bought a 2003 Cargo Van and I am actually going BACK to the SUV, it gives me too much anxiety to drive a big van (also my van didn't have any features like (back up lights, air conditioning, etc.) It also did a "death wobble" what mechanics called it. I love how you show both sides on your channel (car camping and vanlife)! You are an inspiration!

That truck camper looks perfect for a couple or small family. They put a lot of thought into the placement of everything and the storage options, I'm pretty impressed with the ceiling heigh even when it closed. While I wouldn't want one, I can see why some people would go this route over a traditional pull behind camper.

This is one of my Favorite places on Earth. I have spent so much time here over the years. Literally paradise.

I want to hear mom and dad's opinion about it from a senior perspective. Like, the getting in and out of the camper, as well as getting into the bed from the floor. Mom is teeny tiny, was it a struggle for her? The pop up seemed very easy and fast, without much effort. We're starting to get up there in age, have been happy with out TAB trailer, but are wanting to get away from towing. This could be a real good option, and we already have a full size pick up, however we aren't getting any younger so just getting in and out can be a challenge for campers. I await mom and dad's comments from a senior perspective please.

I hope more companies give you free stuff to evaluate and review. Thanks Nikki - you are helping so many people!
