Every captor video seems to miss the part I'm most curious about. There's so many levels to set. Your amp volume, the units volume, the input and out in the software as well as your interface. It would be great to see a video on how to balance all these foe the best possible sound

Yes!!! There isn’t a single video on this. Output of Captor X into interface I lose a lot of ‘magic’ whereas my amps sound magical when I plug phones into CaptorX. Makes recording a challenge.
I know this video only has five comments but it was incredibly helpful for me navigating my new captor X. It made a big difference thank you both
I have been using a captor x since they came out. I have always placed the mics closely. Wow, have I been missing out. Thanks for this guys!
This was really helpful! First time using something like this as well, the mic’ing for me is brand new

thank you so much for the great video. very informative. does this have the power amp simulation like the wall of sound. and if so could you run from the effects loop of your amp and essentially just be using your pre amp, then choose a power stage and cab? thanks again.
thanks a lot! really useful!!! I would have a question: is there any method to adjust the setting in order to increase the headroom of a cab? with some cabs and my les paul I miss a bit of headroom...not the same with my strat! any advise very welcome! cheers!
I’m trying to use this torpedo capture with my 100 W solid-state Marshall head, but it doesn’t seem to work
One thing that is always missed it seems..... How do you use the twin tracker within the a DAW? I can only use the wall of sound cab loader in my Daw and it seems the twin tracker is only usable in torpedo remote?
Hello! Great video! I have a question. How radical is the -38db cut? I just tried the captor with it's -20db cut and volume was manageable (but not ideal) with my 20watt tube amp connected to 2x12 cab at my apartment. So I'm considering getting the Captor X since it has -38db cut. BUT. I also have an Marshall JVM410H amp on a way which is 100W amp (with master volumes). My hope is that -38db will be good attenuation for my 20w amp AND that the master volume on Marshall will make the amp also usable in the apartment with the 2x12 cab. What do you think?
ok, so i run a marshall quad, mono options of 4 or 16 ohm. i chose 4 ohm as my mesa has 4 or 8 ohm. i set up a 2 x 12 @ 4ohm. question is, i think i'll purchase the 8 ohm version. can, if need be, a 16 ohm box be connected to the output? i know it may sound different, but a larger load should be safe

really like the flexibility. gig with box or not, attenuation, di to desk. on the fly settings
What was the fix for summing to mono? I have the same issue. I’m using logic.

XLR out to XLR in.
So many things left out of what this can do......
total noob to recording here. I'm trying to find 'how to' videos for recording. I'm looking for specifically how to record with Garage band and Captor X, I don't see any and I can't seem to figure it out. Heeellllp!!!!
