Yeah luckily mah school aint like that.. The adults arent really entertaining us.. they open up the Computer so that we can watch the movies that are on the list.. most of the movies were anime tho-(but they have to pay for the entrance fee cuz that computer room doesnt open when its an event at school).. while other students can play or just sleep in the classroom.

Why are kids forced to go to school either? Clearly they don’t always enjoy it. This sort of thing happens, we don’t know why the girl was upset that day, maybe something happened at home or she had a cold or something. I remember having really bad days as a kid and that doesn’t mean the dance class is to blame. For all we know she enjoys dance class most of the time.

I can remember a similar experience I had as a child. Was in a play to celebrate the Lord's birthday. Played a character. Didn't want to do it. Wasn't asked to do it. It was assumed, if not forced, that I'd do it. Forgot my lines. Traumatic and embarrassing. Adults who force children into doing shows, plays, music recitals, ...etc should be shamed and punished!

Delightful isn't the right word, I don't know what would be better, but even at her worst she showed her ability to dance. I wish she didn't though, no kid has to go through that especially on their day!

It's just part of life.. It's always tuff to get outside of our comfort zone.. Nd as for kids they don't want to do anything. They don't wanna study , they don't wanna go for outdoor activities . Jst give them mobile they will forget everything.. so parents have to force them which is quiet reasonable I guess.

My father did farming and other hard work, we followed him, my mother did lot of work at home, we followed her. Please remind ourselves before we blame about kids, we came across from childhood.

Some chinese families take these extreme steps to get the slight edge over other peers... It's a common norm embedded in Chinese society that has growing amounts of criticism against it.

I really admire how she continued the performance anyways!! That's such a great value she has. Pressing on even when it hurts. Just amazing.

The fact that she can still perform whilst crying is amazing. If I had a meltdown on stage as a kid, I would start throwing my poo poo at the audience 😫

Ironic that on a day that celebrates children, it's the kids that provide the entertainment, whether they want to or not.

@@Deepsingh-vj9on the little girl is crying hard the whole performance. There is only negative. She’s practically a baby and needed to be comforted. It is normal practice to comfort very young children when they’re crying.

But putting aside this little girl's situation, kids also cry & complain at the smallest of things. If you stop pushing kids whenever they cry or complain, they will grow up not being able to handle much harder things in life.

I think adults should perform on children's day 😂. Not struggling 7 year olds 😂😭

As a teacher I and my colleagues performs during Childrens day not the children.

I have always been ungrateful of my school, but now I'm kinda glad. Over here, teachers perform for us and I promise its the best day of the year! 😄

I say let kids be kids. And stop trying to make them into adults before their time. Little children like that shouldn't be forced to do anything they don't want to . I think it is wrong

Nah i think there is something you should forced them to do and you shouldn't force them to do. Their parent still need to nurture them to try a lot of thing(within limitation indeed) so they know what they will eventually like or dislike during their growth.

@Ei Dirst calm them and get them to the right mood, but remember to respect them at the same time. If you can't get them to agree, negotiate with them in a calm matter and not scold them. That way they'll be more complying and willing to do so than forced out of guardian's anger.

@Ei Dirst no one does stuff while in hysterics, calming them down is your best bet. If negotiation isn't working, an ultinatum would be your last resort: "If you don't (their action) I will (your action)" but make sure you do whatever you promised to if they don't stop. To instill fear and respect and make them balanced, you need to use your own wisdom. They're growing and learning day by day, and so will you.

That one comment said it right, children’s day is for kids, why the heck are they entertaining parents?

As an American, I am in total awe and amazement at the little girl who cried but did her performance anyway. Even when her hat came off, she still kept going. She is so young to be so mature. With that kind of determination, she will continue to do well. 💖
