That may only run in dogs ( canines ) tho. I've saw a dog like that, it makes their hair fall out if not treated. They can outgrow allergies. My niece was allergic to all dairy, all fruits and most vegetables. She’s 22 now and isn’t allergic to any foods. My daughter was allergic to all perfumes and dyes, and a lot of different foods. She’s outgrown them all except anything that is Japanese, cherry blossom, perfumes, lotion, soaps, and Ajax. But people can also develop allergies later in life like myself, my favorite vegetable growing up was broccoli without cheese cause I didn’t like cheese growing up. When my daughter was two months old, I took my mother out for her birthday to Chinese, and I have. I always had the noodles with all the vegetables because I am a vegetable lover, I got violently sick and I couldn’t figure out why. Months later my mom made homemade Chinese I got sick again still couldn’t figure out whyfast-forward about two years I made broccoli at home no cheese and got sick as a dog and that’s exactly what it was I have to this day I cannot eat broccoli and my daughter will be 30 next week. So I develop an allergy to broccoli when I was 20 years old, and I’ve been allergic to it for the past 30 years.

My niece suffered from this as a baby and toddler. Her body would develop massive welt-like rashes, and blisters. When she cried, her face looked like she'd been beaten. It took my sister nearly a year to get a diagnosis. In the interim, my poor niece had to have epipens carried in her changing bag, and antihistamines given 30 minutes before any bathing. They were prescribed "hypoallergenic" wipes etc. My niece is 15 nowĺ, and seems to have less instances, but sometimes she gets a flare, and it's an epipen moment. 😮

This is horrific. I've heard of it before on a talk show probably 20 years ago. I cannot imagine what a horror it was for her parents. Even after being diagnosed and finally understanding how to care for her, it would be so difficult and likely expensive to deal with. No parent expects something like this. All I can say is I wish the best for this girl and her family. I hope doctors find something that can help. I have a rare condition but absolutely nothing such as this.

It seems like in these cases it's only skin related when it comes to contact with water . If it had internal reactions there's a good chance she'd have been DOA at delivery. This is all exaggerated speculation but it makes the most sense if the reaction was internal aswell.

I was severely allergic (not lactose intolerant) to milk from the time I was born til I was about 14. I couldn't even be breast fed. I ended up growing out of it though, thankfully. So it's absolutely possible that she can grow out of it. I really hope this little girl does.. 🖤

I was allergic to the Sun for 47 years. I would get about 6-8 minutes a day before I would begin to break out. I said to the Lord, I just want to be normal. I just want to be able to feel the sun on my face. He answered that prayer. It's too long of an explanation, but all I can say is, now I get about 2 and 1/2 days before I start to break out and nothing like I used to I believe if you pray for this little girl and you ask the Lord to heal her he will heal her. I believe that in my heart. I will pray for her. Thank you for sharing your story.

I knew a woman who was allergic to the guava trèè. There was a guava tree in her yard and everytime she came near that tree her already large lips would swell up as big as an apple. Her husband was a boxer and some did no believe her when she said it was the tree. They thought her husband had given her a fat lip. She was embarrased.
