Saw them in a dance hall in northern Indiana august, 1963. I was a 15 year old kid who didn’t know anything. They were so good I thought they must be from Chicago. I hung out with them on breaks and heard they were from California I couldn’t believe it. Why Indiana? “We are on tour” what’s a tour? I must have made a great impression. Probably a month later they started to get radio play in Indiana and I said I know those guys. My friends didn’t believe me. My favorite band for 59 years now

Love it. So I am assuming you and your friends didn't know of the Beatles then, and all the British groups? Were the Beach Boys different from the other stuff you liked at the time? Did the Beatles and Stones change that? By 1966 and Pet Sounds, I guess the world had changed. But that was only three years later! blows my mind.

I saw these guys in the 60's a couple of times at least. They were quite the group for us hot rodders. The California coast was home to the baddest coolest radical hot rods around.

The song little duce coupe is a awesome and excellent song and it is one of the songs that I fell in love with. It is a amazing song and I added it to my playlist and it's a fabulous and wonderful song.

Hi Patricia. Since they were FILMING & HiDef audio recording, I suspect they were instructed by the producers to keep things quiet. I also suspect that the audience were invited quests, NOT the general public. The full 20 minute original concert is available on youtube as "BEACH BOYS THE LOST CONCERT 1964". Exactly. Their ages at this time were, from oldest to youngest, is: Mike, 22; Brian, 21, Al, 21; Dennis, 18 and Carl 16. Yes, Carl was only 16 here, although he did turn 17 a couple of of months later after this was filmed. He was such a baby and still in high school!

I taught a line dance to this song, used to love it !! Out of the blue I had stopped at a Wawa’s in town & was gettin me a cup of coffee & this song came on inside on their intercom’s system & I just stood there makin my coffee & dancin right in the store, another customer seen me & said you must like this song so I was happy to share why I did !! Great song

Mike love always trying to get the attention. Even today. So prideful. The beach boys were a conglomeration of everyone, not just love. I've seen them 8 times and briefly encountered Carl Wilson with family after a concert. Without Jardine, I'll never go see "the beach boys" again. Life's too short. The beach boys are: Brian Wilson, Carl Wilson, Dennis Wilson, Alan Jardine, mike love, Bruce Johnston, and David marks. The beach boys are not Mike love.

Jeeze guys, can you look any more straight laced? 🤣 (I love The Beach Boys, I listened to their music while my parents thought they were cornball, but they look like they were pressed into those clothes they're wearing. If they were any stiffer, they'd be robotic!)

In 63 I had a greaser hood boyfriend and this was his favourite song to have sex , I still get 2:23 goosebumps 😂❤

This is awesome how do you keep the audio in sync with the video. When I've tried to do it about half way through the song the fresh audio goas out of sync I was try do do a frankie valli song with the original audio on it but it was really bad quality so I thought i would put fresh audio on it but it didn't work with the app I'm using

On avg., each one minute of final video can take over one hour of total work time which includes picture corrections & re-cutting. Can we learn to appreciate old music without shitting on modern music please? Why your first thought while listening to older music would be to belittle today's music is beyond me... Before you comment "no song today could touch this" or "much better than todays crap" you should educate yourself on music first. The 50s,60s,70s,80s had just as many shitty songs as this generation does. Just that radio stations would filter them out. Today's mainstream music may be crap but not ALL modern music is. If you look hard enough you'll find great music from today. There are young people who watch these videos just to enjoy music. I'm sure they don't care about your personal opinions on today's music, in the same way that you didn't care about your parents telling you 40s and 50s music was better than 60s and 70s. Please shut up and enjoy the damn music. COPY AND PASTE this under a music video riddled with comments from opinionated fossils.
