By the early '90s I'd seen a lot of the "big name" guitarists. But when I saw Charlie, I was awestruck. What mastery.
Sensational and Phenomenal!!!!! So good to see and hear this. Charlie Baty & Duke Robillard are two of the best. The internet did not exist back here, but here it is. Thanks for sharing it.

Absolutely brilliant playing on Lester Leaps by this .. First saw Little Charlie in Toronto in 1991-92 on a business trip at the Onion...and have seen Duke with the T- Birds and his own band at gigs we were both on...You either want to practice more or sell your guitars...Thank you for posting these...!!!!!!!!

The greatest unknown blues harmonica player in the world..he was muddy waters last harp player..the great Rick Estrin..I've seen him at least a dozen times all over the world

I think you have Rick mixed up with Jerry Portnoy .
As always, Robillard takes over the mix. Evidence The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Turn him down! I want to hear Charlie.
