Literally Free Terrain

How the Necromunda project started: • $0 Necromunda terrain ...
Yep. It's me Scratch "the junk pays me" Bashing back with another build. More Modular Necromunda stuff to add to the heap. This is the deep and dank style of Necromunda, not the dusty surface style. More on that.. soon?
Disclaimer:
Yes this was actually minus 1 dollar. It was so cheap it was less than free. Crazy, right?

Great build! Good call with the coffee bad parts. I have so many of those ties and valves laying around. Need to use them!

If you have the kind with 2 diameters they could be train engine wheels...
7:26 Was not expecting to hear "Insaneo Style" outside of any Joel Haver videos lol. Edit: Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed :P
Big Oil wants our bread and noodles to be dry
Senor Scratchbashez: "...until then I'll just keep piling the terrain." I felt that.
Incredibly inspiring, and terribly fun, as usual! GW’s pieces of Necromunda terrain seem just artificial and wrong compared with yours. Thanks for sharing!

You are insanely good at this
The style reminds me of something out of Akira (like the designs from Art Director: Toshiharu Mizutani)...especially those curvy pipes and hoses.

Wow a Joel Haver reference. This really does go insaneo style
cables and texture makes all the difference
I absolutely love your creative approach. All the terrain pieces so far are looking great. I'd say you've managed to capture the essence of Necromunda in your works. The "anything can become anything" type of infrastructure of hive cities. They're filled with Emperor only knows what kind of junk and broken machinery. You can probably find someone cooking a can of corpse starch over an engine of some old world technology.
This build went insaneo style!
Very impressive. Love you you keep using “bad” parts to gray effect. This build makes me want to try something organic and angled, myself.
Thanks to your channel, I built my first scratch build Ork tank this weekend. Thanks for the inspiration!

She’s the best character, amazing build btw.
In one of your vids you asked about making the vid to long...not long enough mate..im a model builder aswell ..what ifs mostly and i build from kits and other bits and pieces of crap but what you build is brilliant stuff..total junk turned into surpurb models..used to play Warhammer 40K so i can relate to your builds and mate ..they'd be welcome on any battlefield..awesome 😁
I'd love love love to see you do some admech at some stage!
The style of your buildings really reminds me of 80s anime mecha scenery
i want to believe the stone wasnt glued on place and it goes bonkers on the inside of the tube, for extra fluff
I absolutely love these scrap creations
Love it keep them coming, love to see some lived in buildings a gang base, market, Hab block maybe?
The machine you built looks kind of like some sort of fuel processor of sorts
You really are a amazing inspiration! And the reason why I hoard loads of old bottles and other gubbins!
yeah... but what about Wheel of Time? Anymore?
I love these scratch built terrain videos reminds me when I used to build 40k terrain out of scrap when I was a Youngun
Sweet sweet Terrain!
This thing gives me AKIRA vibes. I found this video genuinely inspirational.

I’m pretty sure scratchbashing must burgle the local recycling centers in order to maintain the junk in his trunk. His stash overfloweth.
It it's always very impressive to see what you make out of an assorted pile of junk.
Keep up the good work! I LOVE how your not reliant on kits!
Don't worry about getting the recipe right. The beauty of Necromunda Green is that it's whatever color comes out of a haphazard mix of paints.
Great balance between busy and plain !
brilliant content. so informative and entertaining.
Your videos are dope man, love the humour and the results!
Yeah but you built this with love, which is priceless, so technically this terrain cost infinite money.
Lovely as always
Hey how do you maintain your spackle soup fresh? Mine just got hard and filled with green mold.
Great terrain!
I'm always amazed at what you are able to create out of trash! :)

Great build! I've just started doing this but I live in an apartment and can't really use spray paint. Is there something else that I can use (or mix myself) for priming that's painted on rather than sprayed on?

Spraypaint in the bathroom with the fan on! But yes, there are definitely brush-on primers. Vallejo makes one .

A box fan with furnace Hepafilters front and rear does the paint vapor filtration, and a bottomless large cardboard box taped to the fan casing is your new paint booth.
“Shaving and rasping”, are you trying to build it or date it? 🤣
What white paint did you use at 6:50? My white always needs an insane amount of layers to actually be white on top of another color.

Probably answered at some point, but I just discovered your channel! What primer and glues do you find work the best for all the random types of plastic? I know a fair number of them resist pretty much all adhesion. Thanks!
@ScratchBashing
Жыл бұрын
You really gotta test. I have used automotive primer which seems to stick most materials. Recently I have been using a flat black home primer (store brand). For glue I use thin super glue (CA glue) along with a liquid accelerator. I use glue gun to reinforce some joins as long as I can hide the bead of glue.
Plz tell me where you got your paint, brushes, glue etc for free /S
Looks like some of the Akira anime Machinery... Wich look like machines..wich do.. something... well mechanical.
