michaelshortsc, I will do some of it splitting. I had to make a couple of repairs today, only from abuse. 5 years, approx 40 cords of wood through, still working great.

michaelshortsc I’ll try and remember to do that. It was two things: the spring that returns the rack broke and I broke a weld on the arm that holds up the extension table when I dropped a big log on it! There, you get a preview!!

@@tinkertime7165 hi,do you still use this machine. I have a static engine and I’m wanting to do a splitter like this. Do you have any plans on how mechanics work. Thanks

@@sofasurfer253 I don’t have plans. I made it up as I went along. Looked at lots of KZread videos to get ideas. I do have a video of some of the way it works that may help you. Hardest part is the rack. I had to pay big bucks for that part from the states. Without it the log splitter is a pile of scrap!

Stan Roberts. The Anderson connectors? Great arn’t they. I use the jib on different bits of kit and have those connectors on each. Where are you?

@@tinkertime7165 that's the ones! I'm in Alabama in the USA . I noticed your log lifting set up, I may change mine to one like yours. Right now I winch them up a ramp. Beats lifting by hand and saves the back! The Anderson connectors are on my winch.
