My favourite Lionel Ritchie song of all time. Back in 92 I managed to buy my first brand new car with an amazing stereo. I drove everywhere with the windows down, sun roof open, bass up banging out Lionel big style 😄 They were great days, oh how I miss them. I was 27 years old with the perfect life back them and glad Mr R was a part of it.

I was so honored. ..one of my greatest musical memories.

Got really attached to this song after my son was born 5 days ago. Makes me cry listening to it, as it's a whole new kind of love ❤️ Thanks Lionel

Congrats on your son. Try 'your song' by Billy Paul. It starts slow but the emotions take over the singer after couple of minutes. i'm a single dad and sing that to my son every day. The little man is 16 now and has a beard and hair on his chest. Still my baby though.

This song came out in 1992 when I was 16 and so much happened that year, most importantly my father's passing. This song was however uplifting for me at the time and listening even now is like replaying that year with all it's ups and downs. Thanks Lionel

Unfortunately that was the beginning of Techno and grunge overtaking all the good stuff that came before, no wonder i never heard this wonderful song. Absolutely- first heard this on the Lowes Muzak tape while working third shift fifteen years ago. It would get you going! Incredible it didn’t even crack the top forty then, due to rise of grunge and other alternative music.
