Whether the defenders in the USA are not the same caliber as those in some clubs in Europe, it did not make a difference. Where did Messi score 5 goals in a game? Wasn't it in Europe? Where did Messi score 4 goals in the Champions League? Wasn't it against a dangerous arsenal team? In other words, it doesn't matter where Messi plays, defenders don't matter to him.
