I wish l had discovered this channel 10 years ago. But it was a lot of fun binge watching all the videos and it is great going back over and watching my many favourites. It was also a very steep learning curve. l have to say that what l learnt from you about hyenas blew my mind. The main one is their intelligence and the fact that they themselves don't stink but love rolling in stinky stuff like fresh vomit (gross) to try and get higher in the clan even temporarily. Becoming a pride leader was never a question when the option came up and as l gave up my almost daily takeaway hot chocolate to be a member (l don't drink coffee) l had it to spare. l know the money is going to a good (to put it mildly) cause. To reply to your answer to my question on the member video where you took Clarance and Joseph up for a flight in your plane, about did your plane have a name? You said no and asked what l would call it. I think l would call it Elsa. That is the first lioness l ever became aware of as a child a very special one.

When I think that I've only been a pride member for 7 months and its been 10yrs of the Lion Whisperer I think how could I have missed out on so much? I will never tire of the heartwarming feeling that comes from these relationships of mutual respect and love.

I think it is amazing they know you are a human but the love and gentleness they give you. When she reaches back and pulls in your head so gently YOU KNOW they know. Any one of them could Tooth you any second that they want or Rip your skin with just the slightest nail but they do not. Definite BOND and TRUST!!!!!

10 years of the channel, but many years before that struggling to find your way, find and buy the land that would finally become the sanctuary. Then organize work, shoot videos, movies, collabotate with students, veterinarians, volunteers, start a family of your own, face challenges, heartaches, death, teach students the importance of protecting their environnement, give conferences, travel to give us a glimpse of wonderful places, collaborate with many entities (National Geographic, GoPro, etc), get the endorsment of a princess...the list goes on and on. And we the members of your Pride, are so proud of you and your achievments, and being part of it all. May this amazing adventure go on forever and ever !❤❤❤
