Lion Pride Protects Newborn Cubs from Predators | Predator Perspective
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
The Nsefu lion pride is expecting cubs - three of the lionesses are pregnant. They live in the best territory on Luangwe River in Zambia with two strong male lions, brothers, ready to defend the pride to the death, and a grandmother lioness there to help. One by one, the lionesses make hidden dens where they will give birth.

Something similar happened to me at the Nairobi Animal Orphanage, Kenya, in either 1997 or 1998, as I recall, though with me, it was multiple lions roaring at the same time. It was terrifying and unsettling. An alarmed game warden even sprinted towards the roaring lions as he asked me in Kiswahili "Ni nini? Ni nini?" ("What's wrong? What's wrong?"). I answered "Sijui" ("I don't know"). Almost immediately though, the joint roaring by the lions stopped. I don't know what triggered the lions into roaring so resoundingly at the same time. No wonder the game warden I mention was so concerned. Regards, Michael M. Kamau, Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa, 31st January 2024.

As the narrator pointed out, she’s one of the daughters. And she looks pretty young, probably the 2 maybe 3 year mark. Youngsters often have a smaller and pronounced dome, however as she matures her head will broaden to accomodate her enlarged eyes a lot more. At this age the lionesses look almost like preying mantises. Im not sure if that’s what threw you off but just thought I’d share anyway haha.
This video should've been titled, lion cubs at play. I was expecting a Lion battle for their safety. Still a good video and enjoyed it.

@CheekieCharlie
Жыл бұрын
Humans have universal languages, too! Like body language, volume or tone of voice, oddly enough eyes? all that sort of stuff. And humans' body language is understood by most animals as well. Elephants don't go up to poachers or people who don't care for help usually, they can kind of tell who is actually gonna help them and they go for them. Not to mention that lions can't understand leopards, it's just body language mostly, haha

Simply precious beyond precious. I wish some of you people on here have the awesome experience of ever holding, cuddling and playing around with big cats. My life has been complete because I’ve had the privilege of being around these magnificent creatures. Some of our friends are big cat and other safari wildlife handlers. I was scared at first to go near the adult lion, tiger and leopards but the handlers assured me that these animals were rescue big cats and pretty well tame. Pretty well? WTF? At first I lounged around with the baby and teenage cats. You cannot imagine how much they play around non-stop. They could not stop jumping and licking and they have the cutest sounds when they try to roar like the adults. SOOOOOOOO PRICELESS! The greatest experience ever! Then they led some of us to pet the big male lion and lioness. Two full grown tigers. Male and female and then there were four leopards. I’ll probably never do this again with the adults. Seeing a video or picture does not compare to seeing them in person. These cats are sooooooooooooo huge. Oh my God. I’m almost peed my undies when the big tigress growled while putting her paws on my shoulder. Scariest moment of my life but she then calmed down and nudged her nose all around my body. Anyways. Didn’t mean to bore you but my dream of being with big cats came true and I will cherish that for the rest of my life. Take care everyone.”

@seinfail2158

No that's in a perfect world, statistically this male lion is fucked, and even if he survived his adulthood, he will be lonely and won't have any offspring or a coalition , because he has no brothers, the only way u can call a lion a king is after a pride takeover and the cubs are killed, then he has to start his own bloodline and win over females....that's when u can call a lion a true king, so unless this little guy finds other lions with no brothers such as he and they join into a coalition of 2 or 3 or even 5 and 6 stepbrothers...then this lil guy might have a chance but for now he's as good as dead really

But before that THEY COVERED UP my eyes & ears AND KICKED me out of ADULT CIRCLES because kids wasn’t ALLOWED In ADULTS CIRCLES!! I could either be around kids or outside or inside BY MYSELF if no kids or my cousins was around!! I was the OLDEST of my siblings but the MIDDLE CHILD when all the RELATIVES & KINFOLKS got together in FAMILY GATHERINGS. *THE MIDDLE is a LONELY PLACE because the YOUNGER ONES try to COMPETE WITH YOU & the OLDER ONES thought they were an ADULT and knew everything MEANING MY COUSINS. So I fought ALOT, imagine male cousins only 2-4 years OLDER than me PULLING OFF BELTS trying to discipline ME WITH ADULTS in the NEXT ROOM? And the KICKER was they RECEIVED 10X as many spankings as I was and I’M WITNESSING ALL THIS!! So that was my first dose of HYPOCRISY as a child being introduced by the WORLD!! You don’t think I was SMART ENOUGH to draw a hypothesis from that? ON EVERYTHING I LOVE ❤️ SELAH 🙏⚖️🤲🏽
