Well just having a lion in the Jungle is unusual in the first place! They may have the title as kings of the jungle BUT they live in the plains and flat lands/game reserves in Africa NOT in the Jungle lol So it's tigers that should have that title as they do live in the Jungle, they are also bigger, weigh more and have a more powerfull bite force than lions

Maybe but it's a valid point, people call lions kings of the jungle yet they don't live in the jungle. A lot of people don't realise this and as the original comment was saying about lions and tigers being in the jungle it is relevant really as it's a comment on lions in the jungle so it can't get much more relevant if u think about it.

I have to say that John Varty did a great job here by putting savannah when she was a cub to Julie. He wanted to avoid hand-rearing, so he decided to put Savannah with Julie's litter and there Julie accepted Savannah as her own. Even good thing to put Savannah on birth control since he didn't want a tiger and lion to crossbreed since tigons even ligers are often have health issues. I also have to confess that it made my heart jump when Savannah was being rough to Julie's cub. But hey Savannah doesn't have cubs of her own and she is still learning. But at least the motherly care came to her.

Yea,it's a shame she never was able to become a mother because of that sicko john varty taking her away from her own mother so he can experiment by putting a lion cub with a tiger to see what happens. Then he decides to dart her and not put her in a safe place to come out of it so a tiger killed her .

@@lindasue1872 yes,and the worst thing is that the one and only reason why she got killed was exactly the fact that she was sedated! So as it turned out that large male tiger which killed her was a mate of her foster mother Julie the tigress-so I guess it wasn't ever shown here or elsewhere but exactly her foster father killed her!And the reason why he did that is not because she was a lioness and not because he wanted to mate with Julie but Savannah was an obstacle(if so-and it was infanticide-he would have killed all the other cubs which didn't happen because first of all these cubs were his and also because they were already mature and so Julie was already fertile again)-so the reason is clear as day:male tigers are known to test their cubs when they get mature and when one of his cubs(and I am sure that he definitely regarded Savannah as his own cub which is why he didn't kill her long before that moment)-fail to pass the test and the father feels his own cub's too weak-the cub gets killed by father:it is known to occur in nature! So as weak cubs are almost always killed by their own fathers is exactly what happened to Savannah! And as I said Savannah was certainly strong enough to pass this test but some sadistic twisted moron darted her and so when the damn sedative crap kicked in and knocked her out-it was regarded by her foster father as her weakness and therefore she was killed..And anyway it's obvious for anyone that if any two serious predators are fighting with each other and you dart one of them but don't dart his opponent-the one that got darted will most likely get killed regardless of their personal relationship and other things because all of them more or less do not tolerate anyone's weakness and in most occasions they will kill the weak no matter what species and also they certainly don't know what the dart is!So after all I would have never give that moron an access to any animals at all after that-he has to be judged and prosecuted for deliberately killing an animal in his sanctuary in cruel and gruesome way-as for the law,and as for the justice the one who did that has to be thrown in the cage and locked with the very same tiger(preferably after some time without meal)-and also darted just to make sure that he will get the same fate!

How can ANYONE say that animals don't feel compassion for other animals? It was like watching a human reuniting with another human. Humans are animals but so many people forget that.

  • @AFGalwayz

there was an instance where a lioness adopted some kind of deer or calf....it tried to keep it as its own but a male lion ate it. there is also one where a leapard kills a baboon and notices that it had a baby and takes the baby as its own. but it died of cold.
