This is my very first size comparison, DO NOT DELETE!
The annual first episode of the S1 Animal Series
TIGER - (Panthera tigris) is the largest living cat species and a member of the genus Panthera. It is most recognizable for its dark vertical stripes on orange fur with a white underside. An apex predator, it primarily preys on ungulates, such as deer and wild boar. It is territorial and generally, a solitary but social predator, requiring large contiguous areas of habitat to support its requirements for prey and rearing of its offspring. Tiger cubs stay with their mother for about two years and then become independent, leaving their mother's home range to establish their own.
LION - (Panthera leo) is a large cat of the genus Panthera native to Africa and India. It has a muscular, broad-chested body; short, rounded head; round ears; and a hairy tuft at the end of its tail. It is sexually dimorphic; adult male lions are larger than females and have a prominent mane. It is a social species, forming groups called prides. A lion's pride consists of a few adult males, related females, and cubs. Groups of female lions usually hunt together, preying mostly on large ungulates. The lion is an apex and keystone predator; although some lions scavenge when opportunities occur and have been known to hunt humans, lions typically do not actively seek out and prey on humans.

I confirm that lions have,on average,the highest height at the withers of all felines.

@@Dr.Ian-Plect Yes,they have...As person i have been studying African lions and Siberian, bengal tigers for 14years I can responsibly say that African, especially South African lions are on average taller(100-130cm-3,3feet-4,26feet:Top max height) than Siberian,Bengal tigers(96-107cm),max height was:124cm for Amur tiger in captivity(V.Mazák 1967-Prague zoo).Max height was:109cm for Royal beautiful Bengal tiger(Dunber Brander 1933).Usually height is:91,5cm for Amur, Siberian,Bengal tigers(major Godwin 1933)...Usually height is:97cm for African lions...So ,if you don't are blind then will be see that African lions are really taller than your still overrated Siberian tigers..Sorry for my English🦁👑🐯💞💕💖💫🌠🌌

Não. Leão americano possui um fêmur de apenas 46Cm(máx) 3 cm acima do maior tigre siberiano Tigre ngandong tem estimativas de 480kg pelo fêmur, enquanto esse de 500kg do leão é mentira!

Ngandong Tiger was bigger than Panthera Atrox, the biggest Ngandong Tiger ever found has 424 kg, but estimates say that the most largest individuals could weigh 470 kilograms and the Panthera Atrox weighed between 350 to 400. And the Bornean tiger probably was smaller than that.

Unreliable records. The tallest was c. 112cm at the shoulder, the heaviest being 270kg (F. Limin, 2022). These are from the wild.
