Actually Simbakubwua has nothing to do with lions and feline in general and is not related neither with hyenas. It belongs to a very ancient Carnivore family called Creodon living more than 45 million years ago. There were a subfamily of Creodon called "Hyaenodon" because their teeth were very similar to hyaena's but just for parallel evolution

If you don’t mind me asking but can you do an evolution video on the Antilocapridae and this family is composed of the Pronghorn and it’s extinct relatives and I am asking because I am interested in how the pronghorn and its ancestors diverged from their closest living relatives the giraffe and okapi but I am also interested in the evolution of the pronghorn and it’s extinct relatives because it’s extinct relatives had horns that came in bizarre shapes and many horns like some had four or even six horns and they came in many shapes like smooth slightly curved horns, flattened horns that widened to forked tips, Straight spiraled horns that ended in forked tips and Fan shaped horns.

IN ANCIENT TIME, A INDIAN LION WAS BROUGHT FROM INDIA TO CHINA, HAN EMPIRE. THE INDIAN LION WAS A GIFT TO THE CHINESE EMPEROR BUT IT WAS DEAD IN THE JOURNEY. THEN, THE INDIAN TOLD TO THE CHINESE, LION LOOKS LIKE A PEKING DOG. THEREFORE, THE CHINESE LION BECOME A LARGE PEKING DOG IN CHINESE LANGUAGE LION=獅子
