dont know about all that. my mom used to go outside screaming my name out like that while im playing baseball with the fellas. pretty embarrassing. she could just walk the extra 20 yards and wave me home sigh.

Except those aren’t contact calls. Those are territorial roars. Calling the cubs sounds completely different and the male wouldn’t be involved.

It's amazing how THOSE children listen!

Mom is calling and the kids are strolling in slowly....but they greet their parents....good kids... terrific parents!

Although sub-adult, somebody is still mama’s baby.

Love is such a pure and basic element in creation! So divine!!

Those were big cubs, I was expecting some smaller lion cubs than the ones that showed up!

So much love. Both my parents are dead and I miss them.

My beautiful mother is 83 years old. She is in better health than me. Daddy passed away 2 1/2 years ago, at the age if 94. I will never get over losing him.

Lions are basically teenagers when they're a couple of months to a year old.

I never knew cubs stayed with their parents for this long, I usually see them as babies alongside the mother but and assume they run off when they grow, but those some grown ass lions still with their parents lol. That’s rare to see

If those are lionesses then they will stay in the pride for life (Males are not part of the pride (they form a coalition with their brothers or other lone males ) though they are included in it
