The entire "hybrid theory" album is phenomenal. Every track is an absolute banger. High energy, emotionally charged punch in the chest. And yes, Mike shinoda doesn't get nearly enough appreciation

This was the first song on their debut album "Hybrid Theory" (a masterpiece). I popped it into my Sony (anti-skip) portable CD player for the first time on Christmas day 12/25/20000 and my head exploded and never re-assembled quite the same. Literally, this song changed my world.

First track of the first album. Back in 2000 it started a legend. Today, almost a quarter of a century later, Linkin Park's music is still hot, still relevant, still fire. My daughter was born after that release, a total hardstyle die-hard fan, never listened to any sort of distortion guitars music, but she knows all LP songs. This is the effect of that first album and this first track. A true legend and a phenomenon in the music world. There are few artists that leave such a mark on the world. I'm glad LP is one of them.

Mike shinoda was called “the glue” because he can work in pair with the rest of the guy in the band and with the all band in general. He was the inside producer of the band and he can play guitar, piano, mpc, in their songs plus all the vocal stuff , not only rap but backing vocals too. So, Chester was the man, and Mike was the mind. He wrote all the lyrics too with Chester

This is definitely one of those songs that you just have to hear live. Linkin Park said back in the Meteora days that Papercut was their favorite song to perform live and they were a fantastic live band in general. The version from their Live in Texas album is probably the easiest to find as that entire concert is up on their official KZread channel.

I've always heard, read articles, read comments , encountered many enjoying linkin park in public and the idea of one appreciated more than the other has never even been a thought amongst fans. Hello Bisscute, interesting band, although the truth is I don't know them much, apparently they are one of the bands that are exponents of Nu Metal, although it is said that they have also been classified as alternative rock, which includes a fusion of heavy metal and hip hop , with electronics and pop elements, interesting, I will continue listening to them to see if they catch me. For now, I would like to suggest you react to the band Procol Harum, with the song: A whiter shade of pale. Greetings and a hug from Mexico City.

Since you are a LP fan already. And hearing something new with them is hard. I would suggest two things. One is from Linkin Parks memorial concert for Chester, they do In the End - with the crowd. Linkin Park - In The End (Live Hollywood Bowl 2017) kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZKZhy9dxpcSpfqg.html&ab_channel=FleynSoldier And the other, since you do talk about it. And since he has done so much for the fans of Chester since he passed. Mike, who wrote most of the songs Linkin Park released. He has his own band called Fort Minor. Chester even sang some of their songs. My favorite Fort Minor song is - Where'd You Go - Fort Minor (feat. Holly Brook & Jonah Matranga) (Official Video) Good way to still get some Linkin Park, even though you know most of it.

Mike and Chester took turns being lead on songs especially after Mike started singing more. During recording of Minutes to Midnight Mike and Chester both recorded the songs and the band chose who's vocals were better for that particular song. Chester really encouraged Mike to sing every chance he got because Mike has a really good singing voice. Mike in the beginning was more confident in his rapping than his singing. Does Mike have the rage that Chester did no but that doesn't matter because he isn't Chester. Mike has said that Chester was the best singer he knew. He loved the fact that he had Chester as his singing mentor. After Chester passed away Mike started a solo career. 1 of my favorite songs from Mike Shinoda is called Fine. It has a music video.
