    This is why young teachers are better for exams, they don't care about all that proof bullshit and just go straight to the point

    Low IQ statement, being young has nothing to do with teaching the way you want to teach.

    I'm not sure if this is relevant but orthogonal and perpendicular have one subtle difference. The zero vector is orthogonal to every vector but cannot be parallel with respects to a vector.

    Is Orthonormal set and Orthonormal basis the samething? help please

  • @JosephARomo
    @JosephARomo6 жыл бұрын

    Orthogonal and Perpendicular are NOT the same thing. Theres a reason why they have two different terms in Algebra. Orthogonal means that the dot product of vectors equals zero, which is not necessarily the same as perpendicular or "right angle" as you say

  • @YusufSaidCANBAZ

    @YusufSaidCANBAZ

    I think "perpendicular" is subset of "orthogonal". If it is less than or equal to 3D we just say perpendicular but mathematically they are orthogonal. Or IS IT ?

    @@josephlauletta3419 when we define an inner product for a function space this happens. Two functions can be orthogonal but it doesn't make sense for them to be perpendicular.
