She is brilliant, and this show was far better than the success it enjoyed. An absolute gem of a show and actors

James Dreyfuss is great, so naturally funny, love watching him in everything

This show was , Still is and will always be fantastically acted and funny. A small cast of actors, but delivering fun packed episodes every time. Kathy Burke , Top, Jez, Suzes, landlady were a great combination. X

James will never play a role like Tom or PC Goody anymore, in an interview a few years back that is on KZread he was fairly adamant that he will never play camp roles because of the risks of being permanently typecast.

Gawd, I love this. I didn’t see it when it first aired as I was too busy being pregnant and shaming my parents as an unwed, single mother-to-be! I live in the Scottish highlands and there was still such a taboo! Anyway, this is a tonic and I love watching it if I’m feeling a bit down - cheers me right up!
