I worked with Kathy Burke in a drama class at kings College. We went there straight from high school. She was the same then as you see her now. Diamond friend. Wonderful person. Hope she remembers me. Eddie.

and an incredible actress... he serious roles were exceptional, but most actors i know are more terrified of comedy, and she's definitely for those chops too.

One story she told was , there was a magazine that would give you 50 pound if you sent in a photo with yourself and a celebrity. So Kathy and her best mate took a photo together and sent it in , got the cash and bought a bottle of champagne.

Last I saw of her she had some mobility issues so maybe on a slightly less physical episode
I was eating a vegetable medley while watching this. Then Sean chimed in. Now my keyboard is covered in bits of corn and squash. Messiest spit-take of my life.

I adore Kathy Burke. She’s so funny, genuine, talented and a bona fide national treasure.
She’s genuinely my favourite human being. I just adore every single thing about her. In personal appearances like this she is wonderful, she’s an astounding actress (Nil By Mouth is an incredible performance in a really powerful, uncomfortable film) and she’s created my favourite comic characters, Linda LaHughes is beyond brilliant. I wish she’d do more serious roles, I would love to see her in a really gritty drama series.
