I discovered Lincoln and his music during the most challenging time of my life. Here is a man that had worldly offers to realize the dream of fame and fortune but he chose the much less traveled pass. When I see a top down picture of a rainbow Mcaw flying over the the dense green canopy of a rainforest, I see God. When I hear Lincoln play guitar, I hear God. Miraculum became my all time favorite instrumental the first time I heard it. When I listened to it I would imagine the whole story of the gospel playing out in my minds eye. Every time he played that solem part making the guitar cry, I would cry as I envisioned Christ carrying the cross for me. Later I discovered his Miraculum video and was blown away when I saw that it was in fact a gospel theme. Stevie ray Vaughan, Eddie van Halen, and Brian setzer, have all taken a back seat (in my mind and heart) to Lincoln Brewster. Thank you LB, God has used you in great ways. I am so grateful for you Lincoln, you have been a source of inspiration for more than 4 when I discovered your Oxygen album on my playlist for my 50th birthday party. More than Oxygen means a lot to me having suffered from asthma since early childhood. Actually, I am doing quite well these days, I am rather thinking of the people suffering from COVID these days. Your playing has become a steady source of inspiration for my playing. Thank your Fender for presenting this video and the wonderful instruments you have provided us players with for more than 70 years. I would also like to encourage the people disliking this video to express their gratitude that is appropriate for them. Gratitude is wonderful! May God bless you all in 2021!

I don't think that anyone who hears him play would underate him, unfortunately there are forces in this world that try to prevent exposure of such people. He is more unknown than underated. IMO.

“Identifying one thing in your life that’s good” Such a blessing to have a legendary guitarist that not only inspires us to play better but also has able to encourage us to be grateful at things that we have despite all the negative circumstances.

A very inspiring message that will dedicate yourself to the guitar and avoiding sex, drugs, & rockenroll, for me the guitar is a best of friend that i can express my feelings and avoid to stressout

We love Lincoln Brewster's music. As a singing drummer, our worship team's covered "Today is the Day" (often), "Surrender" and LB's version of "Our God" (by Chris Tomlin) and I'm working on a few more to add in 2024

Lincoln is my favorite guitar player, regardless of genre. Five years ago, when I first heard his playing on Steve Perry's "For the Love of Strange Medicine" album from 1994, I first picked my jaw up off the floor, and then realized that all my favorite guitar players had just been knocked down a position on my list to make room for Lincoln at the top... That's right, I'm talking about players like David Gilmour, Neal Schon, SRV and Chris Degarmo from Queensryche. Lincoln is better, in my opinion. And he was something like 19 when he did that Steve Perry album! That is a crazy insane amount of talent. I clearly did a lot of woodshedding while growing up in Homer Alaska! His note selection is just outstanding and his solos are totally unique and absolutely dripping with soul and amazing bends. Very worth it 👍 Plays like butter, the tremolo is superbly smooth, and the volume pot boost is a game-changing feature. Just make sure to replace the battery regularly. It still works with a dead battery, but it changes the tone slightly.

hey i just bought the LB strat this past summer . the neck on it takes some time to get used to but it sounds awesome

I love to see electric used some other way as I’m not rock metal but I’m more acoustic song but I would love to learn to play electric in acoustic way loved this

The neck pickup of a stratocaster through a clean amp is a beautiful sound. Neck + middle together is also nice. Add a little reverb and it's really sweet.
