You got that right. I was so stressed out. Then I watched Hamilton. It was such a beautiful escape that I watched it again and again, 37 times over the next month-and-a-half. The talent is mind blowing. Truly the best thing that came out of that year.

My husband thinks that my daughter and I won’t even want to watch Hamilton on Disney+ because all we do is listen to and sing Hamilton all day!! Boy is he wrong! Lol

Haven't watched it yet. Because I don't have Disney+ yet. And because I'm going to see the show live in London in april. But since I know that, I'm definitely in the Hamilton hole, watching whatever I can about Lin and the original cast. Does it count. My husband and I never watch the same tv. We have completely different tastes. I knew some of the songs and I decided to sit down and watch it. After 5 mins I called the hubby and he literally said nope not watching blah blah! Cue 2hr 40 mins and he is crying and singing and clapping. I watched the tutorial, but I also saw the show twice live, pay for Disney+ and will buy the DVD when it comes out. I happily donate my ticket and merch price credit to someone who can’t make it to the show so they can watch slime guilt free. 🤗

You know what is so awesome, the pure fact that Lin Manuel Miranda knows what an internet show like ERB is, to the extent that he uses it as a reference.

I'm so glad Hamilton was added to Disney! I knew I'd never be able to see it on stage, and I really didn't like listening to the soundtrack without knowing who was who, so I watched and listened for the first time 2 weeks ago and I'm obsessed!

Lin is right. I saw his performance in 2009 and thought it was a joke. An articulate one, but a spoof nonetheless. I'm glad my first impression was incorrect.
