I've been in my home for 26 years. I woke up at 1:30 this morning and spent time decluttering and rearranging some of the things in my kitchen. It takes years to get stuff where it needs to be. 😂 You're on the right track. Your kitchen looks nice.

Very nice Anna. I would put a Lazy Susan in that corner cupboard with all your spices and stuff. And your bigger stuff on your baker rack. Great idea on the shelves in your long pantry. Good job.

Hi Anna. I think your kitchen looks so pretty. I know organization can be a real problem though in small places. I don’t keep cookware in upper cabinets because I end up with heavy things falling out onto the counters and floor. 🙃 I have a problem storing any food items in cabinets above the stove because the heat and steam from cooking and using the stove light will cause dry goods or spices to clump together or oils to go rancid but I cook a lot and home can with a pressure canner. I think it’s a trial and error thing with the key being the bare minimum amount of kitchen accessories to get the job done. I don’t even use an electric can opener. Lol. Just the crank kind that I keep in a drawer. An over the door shoe holder with the clear plastic pockets frees up a lot of my space to store spices, seasoning packets, bread crumbs, plastic utensils, and many other small lightweight products. I do love that rack you got for your pantry cabinet. You will get it right for you! Thanks for the video. Love ya’ 💜💚🩷

Your kitchen is coming along great. I think many of the suggestions made by other substibers were very helpful. I actually think you have plenty of storage space, its just a matter of re-arranging things unril you figure out what makes sense and works for you. I agree with you about not bending down into the lower cabinets to get pots and pans. I moved mine long ago to the top.

I would suggest a Lazy Susan in that corner cupboard put all your spices oil, nonstick spray, salt and pepper all that stuff in there 😊 also, would be great if you could have someone come in and build slide out shelving in that long pantry it would give you so much more room

Thank you ! I've been trying to keep myself busy ! My kitchen doesn't have much storage ! The very little amount of usable cabinets I have are very small ! 2 cabinets! Each with a shelf but not wide or deep at all ! My plates just fit ! The design of my cabinets is terrible ! I love organizing but when you don't have much to work with it's extremely difficult ! Crockpot and the pressure cooker would be easy to handle from the bakers rack, and a shelf in the pots and pans cupboard would be great.

like the shelf in pantry cabinet--and think too, need a shelf in the spot with the crockpot -to double space... I will have to figure out same things in the fall. For me, I wouldn't like pots and pans in the upper cabinet-as mine are heavy and I can't reach up above my head these days. looking good and hope all works for you!

I mostly use cast iron and heavy stainless so I can't use upper cabinets either. They can chip counters and smash toes. 🙃 Maybe lighter cookware but I'm not sure about glass lids either. Most of my cabinets are organized from top to bottom according to the weight of items. Dry goods or plastics on top. A step stool was one of the best kitchen purchases I ever made....of course it has to be stored somewhere also.

I use various stackable racks to maximize vertical storage space in home and RV cupboards, counters, and closets.

Looks good, I would use the bottom cabinet for items you don't use everyday. ❤

Honey, if you put your crock pit and toaster on your microwave cart, they will be at the ready and then you can hide your napkins et al inside the cupboard. Further, it may feel more comfortable by placing your glass storage dishes in that upper corner skinny cupboard and then moving your stacking bowls up a level and finally, placing your frequent use pots and pans on the shelf that currently holds your staking bowls.

I would put the bowls in the corner cabinet and spices in the cabinet to the right of the stove.

Tried to leave a comment yesterday but it didn't work...😟 Your kitchen is looking very nice! Definitely need a shelf in the bottom cabinet that your crockpot and toaster are in.

Looks great! Suggestion ..... See if you can find a few lazy Susans at a flea market, good will or second hand store. I was lucky enough to find a few really cheap and they make my life so much easier when I have to reach in to grab something farther back. My neck and shoulders are happier too haha! Nice job!

I put my pots and pans on my baker's rack with the lids on. They add a splash of color and kitcheny.

My suggestion for that corner cabinet you should put your baking and spices in that cabinet as it's near the stove you won't have to walk far to gather them all when you are cooking and put the small appliances on your bakers rack and the cabinet below should house all your pots and pans as it's larger

You can get an over the door shoe holder where you put the rack. I love mine. Also you can get an over the door rack instead. It will store your boxes of rice, pkgs of mashed potatoes and macaroni

I agree with a lot of comments suggesting a shelf in that lower cabinet that has your crock pot and toaster. Too much wasted space there. Eventually you might also want to have someone install actual shelves in the tall cabinet to utilize all of that space. Your kitchen is looking really pretty! Nice job!

I have an over-the-door rack which has been great for small miscellaneous stuff like dry beans, bread crumbs, sauce packets, honey, etc. I also try to keep like things together in my cabinets, like canned vegs, canned fruits, cereal, etc. I'm a ding dong, so I need a lot of organization!!!

I use one of those too for canning jar lids, extra, less used spices, plastic eating utensils. dried beans/lentils, and even things like a digital oven thermometer. Mine has clear plastic pockets so everything is visible at a glance.

Great job Anna, it looks good. I love organizing and redecorating once in a while. What’s great is you don’t even have to spend a fortune on it either. Home Goods is great for that type of stuff.

Great organization!

Home Depot sells precut cabinet shelves. You could get some brackets and put them in your pantry cabinet or other cabinets to make more room.

Make better use of the Bakers rack and maybe spice lazy Susan can be in cabinet and you have more counter space

Is that an open space i see above a few of your cabinets? If so..is it possible to put a door there?

Hi Anna, Nice pantry shelves you got. Two of the other cabinets you showed I noticed are pretty high. You could put in a portable plastic stacking shelf in both and have double the space to store things. Amazon has them. I am in a mobile home too and that helped me greatly. Take care. Blessings. ❤

The lower cabinet is for dishwasher I think. It is low. I'd get a shelf for that one and also a lid rack for pan lids. Your pantry looks great! You've been busy
