Their older stuff is a lot heavier so the further back you go through their discography it’ll get more into Deathcore territory. @@ivanmerkushev704 You realize Sempiternal is incredibly varied? Sempiternal's sound features a lot of atmospheric/ambient/electronic soundscapes mixed in with heavy guitars and a mix of Oli's growls and cleans, and scream-sung choruses. This song has literally all of those qualities. You're forgetting there's also a lot of softer songs on there (and the snakes start to sing, seen it all before, deathbeds), and then there's also stuff that's more nu-metal adjacent like Sleepwalking, CYFMH etc, this song fits that bill. This absolutely does sound like if they continued building on that album's overall direction. Just sounds like you're on that gatekeepy metal elitist bs because there's a rapper on this track.

@@lllleyla BMTH was always built for this. They were always so authentic. Despite the change of sound, they evolved into other genres without losing their roots. The songs they make are good. BMTH had proven themselves to be one of the most headstrong and forward thinking bands ever, and to the think their roots are embedded in the warped tour deathcore scene, makes me a proud elder emo

@@lllleylafor me particularly, this is an epic experience. I found both BMTH and Uzi early in each of their music journey. So to say I was with each from the start is very interesting to experience I remember when BMTH dropped Count Your Blessings and when Uzi dropped Top.

You’re not alone, same here, man, only I was into Suicide Silence, back in 07 when I was 14 . This is weird as fuck to hear. Uzi is THAT GUY. What a fucking bold move, putting this on the album!! Love all metal&hardcore, and Chief Keef’s children, if you know what I mean. Uzi was such a breath of fresh air, after Sosa peaked in 13-14 and influenced a whole generation. Sending much love to you, dude.

Lyrics: I stare at the moon (And I still miss you some days) (Witness me) Whoa Ah Your bad, bad bones in my blood bath Your bones will rot (yeah, yeah, yeah) I'm lost and I'll never get back So borderline You'll be a lonely wolf You don't help me anywhere else (whoa) Your world will soon go down but underground And this darkness has become a haven I'm going deeper underground, can't face it Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah Picked up where you left off I pray on my knees, to my protector Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah Get off to the blood that was left on the scene, you was destined I was lucky with the curse and I can't even talk I was lucky with the curse and I can't even talk I was lucky with the curse and I can't even talk I was lucky with the curse and I can't even talk And this darkness has become a haven I'm going deeper underground, can't face it Better off dead in the ground, I'll see you around, so long And yet the shadows have become a haven I stare at the moon (And I still miss you some days) And this darkness has become a haven I'm going deeper underground, can't face it Better off dead in the ground, I'll see you around, so long And yet the shadows have become a haven Witness me (Witness me) Source: lyrics.lyricfind.com/
