I don't know... What's the situation with her father? Everything that she said there was obviously coached, even with a card holder with 'RACISM' printed on it. Obviously now that she's not just 9 I think her words hold more weight than before but it still just feels like something her evil ass brother concocted. There's just more known about her mother and brother, whereas everything about her father is just (coached) hearsay, unless I missed something.

I completely agree. And unfortunately we actually already are seeing some of this. I know I read about several different court cases where the children having turned 18 finally and realizing how horrid it was that their families used and abused them for money. And some places were trying to or have now, made laws to protect them at least in regards to ensuring they get the money left after what is used to ensure a good life now. Covering things like a roof over their heads and all other necessities ect. Because most find they were taken for SOOO much money. Hopefully she and so many other children being used like this and forced into a life they didn't choose can heal and move forward. It's heartbreaking.

My thing is, that lil tay was in her mom’s custody when she was put online. Her mother is the reason she lost her normal life, and her opportunity to be a healthy child. The father seemed to come around at the end of this to put a stop to it, as from what I remember, he sued tay’s mom over their daughter being made into a public figure. If what we have seen of the mom is correct, then this stuff about tay’s dad is likely just lies from her mom. In that case, this woman is (still) a manipulative, controlling abuser. Now, tay is old enough to be able to recognize this behavior and choose not to lie like this, however, I don’t blame her for continuing in the behavioral patterns she was raised in, so she’s technically not at fault, even if she’s knowingly lying about her dad. Still, not cool. This whole situation is awful, I hope someone manages to help tay turns things around so she can be a healthy adult.

In British Columbia (the jurisdiction in Canada where this girl is from, and for which I am a lawyer) there is ABSOLUTELY no way the court would accept an argument from anyone about "being close to black or Hispanic people in Hollywood" that would entirely go against you. What's doubly suspicious is that proceedings regarding children are sealed by default to protect the child so we have no way of knowing if her claims in this regard are true without going to the court and asking for an unsealing.
