Lil' Brother or Mean Sister? Milwaukee 2526 M12 FUEL Cordless Oscillating Multi Tool Review

Ғылым және технология

Does the Milwaukee 2526 M12 FUEL Oscillating Multi-Tool have the guts to hang with the M18 FUEL Multi-Tool, or is it just a 12-volt wannabe tool? While the M12 FUEL cordless multi-tool doesn't have the Auto-speed feature like it's M18 big brother, it still delivers on performance better than most other brands. You can get the Milwaukee 2526 M12 FUEL Multi-Tool for $159 (bare tool), and it comes with a 5-year warranty.

While the description says "tool only" it does come with one each of a bi-metal kzread.infoUgkx0vyBwjtx9GGOuiqUVT2sRoYqmDoNT_RI and HCS blade plus an adaptor plate for non-DeWalt blades. Wish I had known that before I bought the blade kit, but oh well. Since I already have a DeWalt drill, charger and batteries there was no need to buy more of those so this was a great deal. There is one other consideration. DeWalt does't sell the depth guide separately so you need to buy the three parts which make it up -- the N275350 block assy, the N275341 metal rod and the N278801 knob. Amazon does sell all three.

My house is in line with a runway and it's a airshow daily. We recently had The Blue Angels flying so close the trees were blowing around and 2024 will be The Thunderbirds. I see f35's coming in a lot so a lot of noise and i love it 😂 Great review as always!

I use a combination of Milwaukee and Diablo blades. Primarily in Carbide unless it is strictly wood then that hardwood fast cut. Fyi, i just bought the Milwaukee multi tool blade case from HD. It is a good size case with 6 multi position and removable pegs. The case is 20 dollars but it is very nice having all my blades protected and stored in a case. It has a clear lid and is 7"×11"×1.5" I think it might be the same case that comes in a kit with some blades, not sure. I already have 14 blades so didn't need them. The pegs are tall enough to hold probably 10 or 12 blades each. Yes i highly recommend the M12 fuel multi tool. The 2.5 hp battery lasts a good bit if you do not want the bigger 4 or 5.0 hp battery on it to save space. Thanks again brother for another great video Edit to add. Mr Tim, could you do a review on the new Skil mid torque impact. It claims 800 break away and 480 install. Amazon has it right now tool only for 79.00 on sale. Also on sale the Skil brushless 5 " orbital sander kit with 2.0 amp battery and jump charger for 89.00 (down from 139.00)

Love my M12 multi tool. No need to go up to M18 tools, yet? All the other M12 tools I own, just perform awesome. Did own the original 28V lithium hammerdrill and I used it so much, I wore the thing out in the 15 years I owned it? After Christmas, got a bunch of M12 tools. The riveter is amazing how powerful and fast it pops the rivets? It did it in a blink of the eye, thought it was broke after the first pull, but it works so well, it is a lifesaver when having to install large amounts of most any size rivet, up to 1/4". The 1/2" hammerdrill and impact wrench are great? The 3/8" high speed ratchet is a dream? The tools are not cheap, but well worth the money, when your using them to make money?

I had the corded Dewalt. Got the m12 fuel 2526. Tried it out for a while. Too big to be m12 tool. Finally tried the 12v xtreme and never looked back. Comfortable in the hand, almost similar performance and a real 12v tiny tool compared to dcs356.

They say the 12v dewalt is better than the 20v. I believe it because the 20v is awful compared to my m12. Also like that the m12 has a switch instead of a trigger. So many more ways you can hold the tool to get into tight spaces

I have the M12 for the fact it has the best vibration suppression. Add to this thought also with a M12 battery it is easier to hold rather than the large M18 battery. When your on a ladder and only one hand to do stuff the lighter tools are easier.

I commented on the last m18 vid. This m12 is a beast. Only issue I’ve had is the battery indicator getting drywall dust and saw dust behind it so I couldn’t see the battery level. Found out you can use a little pick to take off the little piece of clear plastic and then glue it back after cleaning it. Easy fix and I’m happy with the tool again. Other small complaint is that anything below a 4.0ah battery drains very quickly. I only run my 4ah and 6ah batteries in it now. I paid $199 for the tool and a 4ah battery as a kit. This tool is much better than the ones I had before. Ryobi, dewalt and kobalt all crap compared to this.

@@ToolsInAction4u well I wouldn't obviously use it for nails only.. but I was more referring to its strength to do that.. over my perceived thoughts of it for drywall and would. I would get it to use on aluminum or hard plastics in automotive field.

Mine has been in for repair twice. I've used the tool lightly about a dozen times. Yes Milwaukee fixed it both times. The first time took 3 1/2 months though. I have entertained the idea of having it crushed in a hydraulic press and sending it back to milwaukee with a note saying "keep it".... I have quite a few milwaukee tools that are good and i really like them. But that m12 line except for the rover lights can just go away as far as I'm concerned.

@@unclefester4626 I'm legitimately surprised by the power of the driver, not cheap but was one of those buy once cry once sort of things. Was already invested in the m12 line with their 3 plane laser and rover lights; I liked the versatility and maneuverability the 4 in 1 offered.

@@samfrank2401 there are several m12 lighs called rover lights. I have 2 of the 2367-20. They are indeed awsome lights. The magnet on the back is strong. Those 3 plane lasers are pricey. I bought a green $200 2 plane bosch and it works well. They have laser chalk lines now. I bought one for shits and giggles but have not tried it yet.
