I was brought up in south London and although it could be dodgy at times it was nothing like today. I never go into London now unless it’s absolutely necessary. It really is an awful place. I just can’t understand why people pay through the nose to live there.

Good description of them (labour and the consocialists), slimy invertebrates.

We recently stayed in a lovely hotel with a great breakfast, restaurant, bar, en suite in every room, coffee making facilities. It has over 70 rooms and was very comfortable. It was however only 2 stars so although it was perfect for us, it is not good enough for illegal immigrants.

Look on the bright side. At least it was available for paying guests who appreciate the place. Unlike higher rated hotels that are no longer available for paying guests and will probably never again have customers even when/if the migrants bog off or swarm on to the next soft touch to pick clean. I mean if I had a hotel booking that was cancelled in favour of the gimigrants I would never use that hotel again even if it became available.

Torys quite happy to spaff more of tax payers money on 3 year deals with hotel owners guaranteeing them FULL occupancy at an exorbitant rate, spending money on Bibby Stockholm (that still isn't occupied) and £140 million on a Rwanda deal that hasn't sent one individual there yet. 13 years of absolute rubbish. I was going to vote Labour due to some of the mess that's happened with The Conservative Party in Government But I've changed my mind.

Yes in order to live as openly gay they apply for a university course - don't complete it- then turn up somewhere and claim asylum through persecution.

We all bought our village pub that had been shut for 4 years. Community pubs will be the only ones that survive.

Agree there is too much pressure to do everything on line. I live in a smallish rural town but fortunately we have around 10 traditional pubs still trading. Most of the shops have shut and all but one bank. But at least we have the pubs! Also agree regrding rail services. I had to travel down to London a few weeks back by train to a meeting at my employers head office. They paid for the ticket in advance and i had to enter a code into the ticket machine to get the tickets. Code didn't work. Ticket office was closed and no station staff. Everything automated. Had to buy the tickets myself although was able to get reimbursed by my employer but whether they can get a refund is anyones guess. Perhaps station staff would have been unable to help, who knows. But it was never an option. I would day the country has gone to the dogs but no self respecting dog would want it.

Dan just laughed.. reminds me of woke rules at my workplace; employees have been warned that if they observe someone being offensive and fail to report the person, they will be treated as an offender as well.

There was loads of pubs in Bethnal Green when I moved there 30 years ago. Then it became a muslim ghetto. They don't do pubs.

I've seen £6.50 but cheaper pubs around £4.50. Crisps £2.00 so a couple of pints and a couple of crisps can be £16 or £17 lol. It is way too much unless you make a pint last an hour...
