I am half way through this movie and up to now it’s been a really edge of the seat film,I’ll report again a bit later. My my my what a twisty turny ending Brit filming on the top of its game, acting and directing genuinely amazing film all around 🎉🎉🎉

Great movie. But a mother who tickles her 15 year old son and send him to school in a shirt 2 sizes to big is making him a weirdo. She Molly coddled him.😂❤

If you don’t like swearing avoid modern British drama! This was 2005. Times have changed. It’s usually Americans who mention swearing 😹 I honestly don’t notice it. Only thing that upsets me is in nearly every thriller they kill an animal. The boy throwing stones at a cat is far more offensive than mere words. People need to straighten their priorities!

I agree with Rosie, and he has such lovely blue eyes.

The Brits are at the top of their game as usual with the writing, the acting and production of this gripping film. Nobody does it better! 5 stars.

It isn’t a movie it’s an ITV drama serial from 2005. That’s when TV was still great ( British). I’ve forgotten it so good to see it. British drama is far superior to any other in my opinion. Georgia Moffat who plays the tarty Morag is married to famous Scottish actor David Tennant who played Dr Who and her dad Peter Davison also played Dr Who. Glad I’ve forgotten the plot line.!

Good story - well structured. Very watchable.

This is set around the time children began holding their parents hostage. Adults walking on eggshells around their offspring, denying them nothing including snacks (the start of the childhood obesity epidemic). The whole dynamic of families changed. Children could do no wrong and adult only spaces became virtually non - existent. This attitude did youngsters no favours. Worth a watch btw.

I think that Jamie’s mom boyfriend is the real killer of the three women that his dad was accused of. Idk if anyone else notice that when the boy was searching for info about his dad, he saw a pic that look like his teacher..maybe it was my imagination let see 🤔

I guess with the plot it’s poetic Licence, just as implausible as Othello I guess. But the acting was excellent.

Ohh, how I long for a company to walk this journey with me. I tried.. God knows I tried but they all were brats. I lost trust and decided to walk it alone.. but again.. I long for it. There was this lady, a friend of grandma’s.. she was over 70 but still kept remarrying every time her previous spouse passed. She hated to lead a lonely life in my guess and she didn’t care what anybody thought of her. It was her life.. her needs. Yeah, she has had relatives, sons and daughters but let’s be frank.. nobody wants anybody. When she stopped remarrying for she got ill her maid stole her and disappeared on her. That is what happens when you are alone. Thankfully the maid did not commit what could be worse. My grandma and the lady of the subject have both gone now.. they won’t feel pain anymore.. and someday my aches will stop too. Robson Green.. a charismatic actor. Special person. Love his works and how there has got to be a funny moment regardless how serious the plot is. 😅

I like this movie and I never heard of this movie before. I am not sure now if he kill young teenage girl. His dad is evil he kill innocence young teenage girls and he doesn't feel remorse. He might be a good boy not evil like his dad. How can police lock him up in prison without physical evidence he kill her? Hopefully they catch real killer before they kill again.
