As someone who has some experience feeling unsafe in their family home, I felt the same emotions come to life while watching Cindy. They portrayed the feeling so well and its so refreshing to see that be portrayed properly. The fear and panic in her emotions and actions were so masterfully done.

I loved parts of this film, especially the character Bryant and the caring and healing affirmations he provided to Cindy. I also loved his relationship with his dad and how the film juxtaposed a healthy family dynamic where a teen feels safe and encouraged to talk to his parent vs. an emotionally abusive environment where she felt unloved and like a burden. Unfortunately, it's more common for folks in the latter situation to end up in future unhealthy relationships that continue the familiar treatment and compound the trauma. However, I like how the film validates how helpful having a healthy relationship is to identifying and healing from past emotional abuse. Many times, folks who have been abused are expected to heal with counseling on their own without ever experiencing a healthy relationship firsthand or knowing what that even looks like.

True insights. Usually only those who've lived it know it. The rest unless they're paid by the hour, don't want to hear about any "negativity", so people walk around with added shame for their 'dirty' secret of having been abused... believing there must be something wrong with them for being such a burden... feeling unworthy of love and having no clue what healthy loving relationships are.

See the contrast between the two kinds of people. The utterly selfish greedy and the great young friend who greasciously unselfishly stepped back to let her know that he will still be her friend even though he lost her as his girlfriend and also the father of Bryan's unselfish wise way of taking care of the girl. True Love is when the other persons happiness is more important than your own.

@mackenziegohdes yes. I say it again, 'You can't give what you don't have'. Bryan is from a home of love, kindness, care, respect.....and no wonder Bryan became like that. Its a movie to be recommended , a lot to learn if you are willing to learn. The most important lesson for me is two types of men shown in the movie "Problem-Solvers" and "Problem-Managers". Max never thought of bringing her out of the problem ,he didn't think far to the level of asking for help.....just stay calm, be good, do the dishes early ,try to make the breakfast early , don't leave any area unclean ,...just try to keep been used, maltreated, abused ,for as long as they give you shelter.

No one deserves to be treated like this☹ Praying that things get better to those, never lose hope and never be afraid to seek help when they needed it so much. If there is someone that you know suffering like this, Let them feel that they are good and they deserve better. Good life, good environment, and good family. Be a family.

When your abused, you don't have the confidence to stand up for yourself and you tend to see the best in others. You keep hoping that if you do everything right then they will treat you better or at least you can avoid their wrath. Or you just shut down emotionally and withdraw to a space where no matter what they say, you'll just let everything bounce off you. Basically just dead inside. Its hard once you leave because you worry about how they will retaliate. Without a support system behind you to catch you, it can be really hard to leave.

I've had this movie in my "watch later" playlist for years, and have been skipping over it because I was sure it was going to be another cheesy cliche retelling of the same story I've seen a 100 times. Turns out I was wrong lol. It's certainly not the best movie I've ever seen but this was absolutely unexpectedly enchanting from start to finish. I honestly just decided to put it on for background noise as I was going to do other things (so I could finally get it out of my watch later) but I ended up actually sitting down and genuinely watching it. And it's really really good, especially for a random free movie that I stumbled across on KZread of all places. Well I want to give a big thank you and bravo to those who made this. This is the realest Cinderella ever. She didn't realize how bad her situation is (or maybe she did but didn't really mind it) until a really good and a bit pushy friend tells you to wake up. Emotional abuse isn't really obvious but it sucks your mind out. I personally have gone through this for 7 years with my ex-boyfriend, until a friend I just met really pushed me to move out. While some of it is realistic the majority is not. They couldn't quite figure if she knew she was being abused or not. And the relationships with the boys were not realistic. No boy would just believe someone is in a relationship with them because the girl needed help while sick, and then never say anything or do anything to express that relationship. The whole thing gave me a bad vibe. And getting her a cat at the end was it for me. No one should just gift someone a cat. They never even asked her if she was ready for a cat. She just ran away from home and is in the middle of a court case where she found out that all of it was using her for her money. A cat is not a toy.

Actually, expecting someone to work for their stay isn't abuse, even if they don't treat her like their own children. But then, she is not their child. Believe me, she is 10000000% better off then she would be in the foster system, so actually, her aunt and uncle or whatever are doing her a huge favor, and if she isn't grateful, she should be. It was good to see a son and dad discussing things. And Bryan said she needed to figure things out with Macron. Then when he questioned that, his dad verbalized why he had done the right thing. So many good examples here. And then...the syrup. Wow! What should be family's everyday functioning was new to her.

Bryant is technically her stepbrother. I think they should’ve made her like the best friend more, this way it feels like she’s obligated to be with Bryant to make up for, compensate for all his dad and he did for her. Also he’s now her stepbrother...

Being a vampire has certain limitations, But it can also be a ton of fun. Your extra strengths and abilities can make you successful in almost every endeavor you participate in life and before you know it the money and acquaintances will come streaming in. You can build wealth and gain prestige and notoriety and attempt things you may never have even considered as a human. you will have more time to do alot, Beef up your education and learn all you ever wanted. Travel the world to see things most people only ever see on TV. This is going to be especially fun if you turn into a vampire. Clan vampires will show you the wonders of the world. Learn new languages, Travel, Go skydiving or scuba dive with sharks, You no longer need to scared of nature or wildlife you will become the worlds strongest predator. Have fun with it and your life as a vampire can be more fulfilling than you ever dreamed of. Experience these and get excited. There’s a big world out there with lots to see and do and as a vampire once you have received the vampire Blood and Ring. Powers, Skills, Abilities, Mights you shall poses. The only way to have all these come through is contacting the hindu lord on the below e-mail: Vampirelordtransformerchanging@gmail.com +1(620-222-9418)

This is an interesting take on the Cinderella story. In the beginning I thought it was a bit cringe... but the longer I watched it, the more real it got and I was glad I watched it. The acting was better than I thought it was going to be. The actors Scott Christopher, Tim Flynn and Paris Warner especially did a good job. Paris Warner made it worth watching...

Coming from a social work perspective I wish it was that easy. It doesn't always have such happy endings but it's a workers (and the clients) dream to have such a heart-warming ending. Great movie. I was expecting a cliché with crap acting (the aunt and sisters were perfectly crap, well done!) but it was well acted, heartwarming, and correct in the fact emotional abuse can be just as bad as physical.
