If you are in the arch when lightning strikes it wont kill you. The metal creates a 'Faraday Cage' around you so the bolt grounds itself into the earth.

I just now remembered Dan that while I was in Branson in 2018, I experienced a severe thunderstorm warning while I was riding with my parents and my sister in the car. My sister was, I think, 9 years old and it was I think probably her first severe thunderstorm. While we were there in Branson and while we were heading back to the motel that a motel room that we rented for a week and while we were in Branson we went to Silver Dollar City and what not and my dad rode the new time travel ride at the time. Get it? Because it's time travel. Anyways, that was a tragic event. I have been really anxious about going back to Silver Dollar City since the illegal coronavirus pandemic. And on the 22nd of May, 2019, there was a severe thunderstorm which produced an EF5 tornado, which severely damaged most of Central Missouri, including the Woods grocery store here in Eldon, and it freaked me out because it was a very deadly store.
